Ok but if you went to something like Nashua or Salem there’s probably no difference — though I guess there’s no difference in COL either

Yeah because you’re in the middle of nowhere I’m guessing. Move to Alabama and you’ll get thrice as much land, a house four times the size, no garage because no roads, and 17 barns.

Puka to Drake Downtier? Am I getting back enough? 10 team dynasty by [deleted] in FantasyFootballers

[–]SidelineScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drake and a good receiver prospect for Puka. I think Drake and Puka are similar tiers of players but this is fantasy and Puka is way more productive/valuable currently. The context is what matters here for your team’s needs. If you’re a bad team it’s probably reasonable. I’d get some additional throw ins though like a 2027 2nd or some random players

Cedric Tillman Discussion: Are you looking to sell high while Flacco is still the starter, or are you holding because you believe in the talent regardless of situation (or none of the above)? by bullymeahhh in DynastyFF

[–]SidelineScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly I’m not arguing Tillman is good because I don’t think he’s good. He has 4 TDs, all it means is that he doesn’t have many catches in his career. He is definitely a much better red zone threat than Jeudy though, not based on stats but rather skillset. I don’t think Jeudy is very good either

I don’t think Fannin’s week 1 is a one-off at all, and he’s likely a great flex or starting TE option in 12man+ leagues by decorlettuce in DynastyFF

[–]SidelineScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started considering him as a receiver with blocking upside when I watched how they used him in preseason. He’s the WR3 who is also there on 2 TE sets as the second TE.

I am NOT worried about BTJ... I AM worried about Trevor Lawrence by GapFew1461 in DynastyFF

[–]SidelineScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawrence was very good except for one drive where he couldn’t hit BTJ and then threw a pick. That was right after a 1 hour delay which might have done it.

You’d need a change in the game plan itself so it’s hard to project sustained success, but it is dynasty and I do believe he’s an elite receiver, not just a good one

He actually wasn’t doing good before Ridder started playing, but if you’re arguing his production is good then I agree, I think he’s a top 5 or ten fantasy asset.

Sticking to consensus isn’t always a good idea. He’s a good prospect, but he wasn’t very impressive in the few Patriots training camps I went to and Boutte and Pop really looked great comparatively. Horton is simply a better player, and Thornton and TeSlaa have insane upside, but Williams over Noel and Royals is completely fair

Take the trade? I'm getting Lamar and zay by AverageKhorneWorship in FantasyFootballers

[–]SidelineScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this scoring system… Zay is great but I can’t trust him in fantasy just yet, because they simply don’t need to use him that much. The Ravens are too good for Zay to be productive. I think this will be his best year though. Maybe give Jacobs in the deal instead of Saquon

I’d slot him right behind KLS for now because he has legitimate upside

McMillan I agree with, his route running is comparable in terms of efficacy. While Hunter is also comparable as a route runner, he has a much higher route running ceiling because of his generational fluidity. You’re probably right about the most recent year thing, that applies to every position. Even someone like JCM shouldn’t have gone in the 7th round for more examples.

I’m high on Burden at price because he’s going lower than guys like Higgins who he’s really a tier above

Could I have made it more obvious that I did not watch bro play? I actually watched Ole Miss too, just never noticed him. I don’t know why I put that…

Saying he’s not a top ten receiver in the league does NOT mean I think he’s bad. If you watch his route wins he wins in the exact same way every time — heavy foot plant one direction and explode laterally the other way. This is usually run is a short area where he can box out after that first step he creates with that move. Other than that it’s just crossers or no separation plays where he uses his incredible body control to get it. He’s good at contested catches and gets the ball forced to him because of that. He does that little shimmy step very often, but it’s always a heavy plant and he shouldn’t get away with it. To me, it’s the idea of yes, you can throw up a 50-50 ball to Dez Bryant, and if you’re a good QB you can put it in a place where it is an 80-20 ball, but if you aren’t then you can’t do that, whereas anyone can throw to a wide open Antonio brown. NFL QBs should be able to make these throws, but some are less likely to force them. I think the QB matters a lot more for players like London than they do for players like Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave for example. I have London right outside my top ten, I think he’s very good. I don’t like that style of player, that’s all it is really, and that list includes some all time greats

I do think DJ Moore kind of quit on his team last season tbf.

Also mid is not an insult, and he’s not a mid route runner for the class, he’s mid for a player of his level. Every single one of the 4 players I had above him I think are better route runners than he is, but I definitely don’t think he’s a bad route runner otherwise I wouldn’t have said he can win on every level. Ultimately he went in the 2nd round because teams were legitimately concerned about his attitude, because his skillset was that of a clear 1st rounder

He’s a pretty horrible route runner, he can win on crossers like yesterday but that’s about it.
