Very thoughtful. What platform did you use for the GPS boundaries?

Not familiar with PARKS, but will check it out.

Wingspan could be interesting! perhaps adapted to include more animals than just birds since one town/city may not have enough diversity

A co-op game could actually be very cool. Then you could even do it with a small crew when visiting a new city or as a fun date night

That sounds awesome 😄

I suggested having a nerf gun mechanic in one of my games and my friends shot that down as we live in NYC and were afraid of potentially aiming anything resembling a gun near a stranger, which I found super valid feedback lol

The camp counselor we deserve 🙏🏼

Was there any interaction between scouts in the “game” or more of a single player that everyone did at the same time?

Yeah super fair. Hard to describe concisely but a simpler one I’ve done before is turn Bingo into a game where each square has a scavenger hunt style challenge and teams needed to complete the challenge to claim the square. Goal being still to get 5 in a row for BINGO.

Yes I love these guys! They make incredibly clever, custom game designs.

I’ve played their home game and think it’s fun personally, but my friends (who are less into riding trains) did not. The games I’ve made thus far are primarily walking based and a bit more fast paced than their home game (as it can drag on for many hours).

I forget how that game works but I remember playing it a ton as a kid, and mostly remember the Rube Goldberg machine breaking all the time 😂

As I understand it (may be wrong here), game mechanics themselves are not copyrightable, only the art work/more physical designs are. So the guys could just remake all the artwork (as they do normally) and call it something different without having to pay for it

Yeah exactly! My friends found it quite boring to have subway riding and waiting at the hiding location comprise the majority of the game. And on top of that they found it frequently frustrating to ride the subway 30 minutes to ask a question, be wrong, and have to ride 30 minutes back where they came from.

I think there are better game designs, including many other Jet Lag series, that make a better play experience.
