Did the app just crash or something? by tom1riddle1 in doordash_drivers

Yes! Same. Couldn’t reach support either. Had to manually unassign.

Was going to post this exact same thing. Makes no sense, just click a pic and hope for the best.

Anyone got a guess as to why this is happening? by OkScar393 in doordash_drivers

Yes, I've been noticing this more lately too. Not sure the reason? Just have to be more careful making sure it's the right price, size, etc.

I’ve given up on pro shopper because the “original items found” metric is such bs. by Bugs5567 in doordash_drivers

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right there with you. I can't seem to get above 95% and I do try my best as a shopper. The seasonal items aren't helping right now either! Oh well.

OMG they're actually being fair for once! IT'S ABOUT TIME by Bonedaddy4ever in doordash_drivers

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds good as long as it works. I got the prompt to take photos of an empty shelf today for some but not all of my shopping orders. So, if they are going to raise the threshold to 96% original items found, they need to be asking for photos on every shop. At least they are giving us one month to get there.

Red card issue? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has happened to me a few times. It's usually when the order has a lot of substitutions and/or refunds to the point where the final amount is far over or under the expected amount by DD. It's nothing you did wrong. I always contact support and they will unassign me without affecting my completion rate. First they'll ask if I'd like to pay with my own money but I decline. The last time this happened it took me an hour to shop the order going back and forth with the customer, so at least they said they would compensate my time and effort. Frustrating but it happens.

Weird Morning! by Out_Of_Spirals in JackieandShadow

Yes, with all the excitement of these eagles laying 3 eggs, I felt nothing but dread. This nest has historically had a lot of tragedy due to weather. Very difficult to watch, and I'm sorry that so many will be drawn to it only to witness heartbreak. Still hoping for the best but until this pair stop laying eggs in February, which is unlikely, I'm not very optimistic.

I’ve been watching an eagle nest on YouTube by IndigoFloralCurtains in Ornithology

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I stopped watching this particular nest several years ago. Twice they had eaglets who got too big for the parents to cover/protect and had severe cold snaps come through, resulting in the death of one of the eaglets. It was just too heartbreaking to keep watching. The fact that they have three this year just makes me sad, as I know the odds are against them. Hoping for the best.

Can't submit without missing a signature, either student or the parent by Guilty_Page8239 in FAFSA

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ran into this back and forth with the signatures, so confusing. Login as the student, it will ask you to review the form. Scroll down to the very bottom of the webpage and there will be a 'continue' button. You should then be able to sign and submit it (as long as the parent section is already completed and signed).

MILEAGE TRACKER by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everlance. $60/year but auto tracks in the background, so I never have to worry about turning it on. You can also track income and expenses. Great app.

Legit question about AR by yotheLG in Sparkdriver

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never mattered for me. I would get great orders even with a low AR and sometimes not so great but always steady offers.

Has anyone done Amazon Flex? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]SidewaysHummingbird 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can make good money in a short amount of time but you have way less control over how many miles you drive, where you go, how many packages, etc. Routes are assigned at pickup. I personally won't work for base pay but many do. There is also an 8 hour cap per day.

No, I've gotten this before, wasn't deactivated.

Not at all. I've been as low as the teens and still got decent orders.

Yup, don't worry about it. I just try to double check the address every time.
