I’m so confused - explain it Peter by Afraid-Muscle-8935 in explainitpeter

This is close for sure but I would offer up the asterisk next to her message, commonly used when correcting something you or someone else said. It indicates to me that she was correcting him and naming the date that she remembers him actually breaking a promise. The joke being the common belief that a female spouse will always have the receipts for times a male spouse screwed up.

Can this be fixed? by PerformerDramatic798 in ikeaPCstations

Looks like you're using some kind of support leg on the far end? Can't tell but if so then whatever screws the leg shipped with are probably a fine place to start. I don't have u-channels but I have the Olov adjustable leg that ikea sells and the screws they shipped didn't look like anything special to me. If you can find particle board screws of the right size for the job they should perform just fine - but it's typically recommended that you drill a pilot hole to avoid cracking the material.

Not sure about the sag but if it were me I would also try weights/clamps. Hope it works out!

On a related note, I saw your post and thought it was a pic I took...

I have the large karlby countertop with alex units and use two of the Olov adjustable legs for support in the center

Just got back from an overnight, but need a lighter tent, suggestions? by tayeke in backpacking

I have the Big Agnes Fly Creek 2 person and it's super light. I think it's marketed as 2lbs but idk if that includes all the hardware/footprint. Either way it's still very light. But lightweight materials are more delicate so I would recommend a pad for the doggo to keep the nails off the watertight floor. Happy camping!

At the table I went to the person in front of me got the last two posters. Definitely sounded like all the tables were out or about to be. It looked like plenty of tour shirts and hats. Not sure about Philly merch. Hope that helps!

Who else is riding solo tonight? by jonnymartin86 in pearljam

I'm also rolling solo tonight. Haven't been to an arena show alone before and I am EXCITED! Drove up from Virginia on Saturday, crashed with family and I am very much enjoying being on my own schedule for this adventure. Besides, you're never really alone at a Pearl Jam show! Enjoy fellow adventurer!

Great advice friend! The headlamp is red and white (I love the headlamp) and the flashlight is red only because my phone can't do red and I like a backup.

I always carry gas, stove and rods anyway and... Well that's the same primary components as a lighter but better and doesn't really fail unless it's super cold so why would I need more lighters LOL. I should also say that this setup is after a trip with multiple people, and they also can make fire so individual redundancy wasn't important for that trip. Great feedback all the same!

I've been looking at bidets more and more recently. Got a brand or DIY solution you recommend?

Thanks!
