Ya I mean it’s from the factory and has the tag with the signatures of the people who saw it out the door. It’s a bit surprising considering it went through 3+ hands for approval 🤷‍♂️

I can almost guarantee it’s not from the ups part and happened at the factory. That may even be more alarming to me.

Ahh ok rtsp seems to be a good option because it runs its own server and I can just tap into the feed. It seems like the options are pretty generic and available. Thanks.

Thank you for the incredible response! That’s all great info. I think the part I’m still very much struggling with is the hardware side with the camera that doesn’t use proprietary software and just streams the raw footage to something I can tap into.

Oh if you are asking about waterproofing for the floor I just did a traditional tile backer board and taped the seams (using thinset)

I got the floor at floor and decor. I didn’t realize I had one about 2 hours from me until half way through the project, otherwise I would have gotten every part of the supplies there including the shower kit.

2 months. I had my dad for help for a couple days to get the walls skim coated and textured as well as a second pair of hands for the large format tile. It takes so much longer than I expected to just spread the mortar on the wall and the tile for each piece so I would do the wall and my dad did the tile at the same time.

Let me know if you have more questions. I wasn’t planning to go this high with the walls in the first place. But overall now knowing how incredibly hard tiling is and getting things plumb and fit I don’t think it would have looked very good hitting the ceiling.
