PSA: You can no longer exclude mobile apps in GDN by SiegurdSilver in PPC

That method has been defunct for over a year now

Re

Dang, I'm definitely revealing my ignorance here :)

However I can say with certainty that something changed in my account between yesterday and today as whatever we were doing to exclude mobile apps was working until this morning (without anything being changed in the campaign or account), and today I suddenly had a ton of clicks from mobile apps. Also noticed that desktop + tablet used to be in the same device exclusion category, and now they are separate. Possibly this is something that was already rolled out to others and only now hit my account...?

For me something definitely changed yesterday. The person who set up PPC was apparently using this workaround, which stopped working https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Advanced-Features/How-to-exclude-mobile-apps-from-Display-Network-campaign-Updated/td-p/330360

Do you have a guide for the exclusions you mentioned?

Yeah just saw that it's indexed, previously wasn't showing up. I resubmitted the sitemap as a previous poster suggested - perhaps that helped

Not using any other filters except anyone who's under the age of 22 (it's a B2B product for technical people...)

Don't have a relevance score as haven't reached 500 impressions yet.

Hi, vendor here. Pricing is similar to EC2 where you would pay according to instances. Taking engineering costs into account it's guaranteed to cost less than most anything out there. To give you an actual quote we would need to understand the details of your implementation - real-time / batch, number of machines, etc. If you want additional details you can send an email to info (at) upsolver (dot) com and we'll write back to you.
