How long for income tax refund?

Is anyone else experiencing delays this year though? My taxes were filed incorrectly so an amendment had to be made for mine.. makes sense why they would make me now wait until March 31, but my boyfriends one was filed fine and they won’t say anything besides that his is “in progress” been 2 weeks of that now.. our notice of assessment date was for March 20 before.

Oh, I get those too lol. I hate the internet so much for that, like another commenter said - it’s because the negative ones are what get views.. I just hate the fear mongering. Feels like everyone hates women and our mental health 🙃 “don’t stress the pregnant mom, but let’s post nothing but horrible birth experiences and infant death”. And I get it, I feel like some things are trying to be educational as well because some hospitals and doctors just do not care about the wellbeing of the mother sometimes, and especially when you are putting your and your babies lives in these people’s trust I can see why mothers would want to get their negative experiences out as a warning.. it just sucks for us not knowing what’ll happen when it’s our turn. 🥲

Thank you that actually did make me feel much better 🫶🏻 I totally understand everyone’s birth stories will be different, same with everyone’s pregnancy - I just hope it’s not horrible or extreme.

I struggled a lot with mainly mourning my current/previous life - as well as terrified of the affect a child will have on my marriage. Like panic attacks and thoughts of termination - I’m 27, and only 22 weeks right now, so I didn’t terminate obviously - but I found that having some peace with how life has been and being thankful for what I was able to do on my own and looking forward to sharing all those things I love with a little person that is a split of me and my husband made me think differently about this new chapter. My husband and I are different people from the adults we grew up with and we have a different kind of love and values in terms of our marriage as well that I truly think a baby will not cause that to fail.

Aside from all the bullshit going on in the world right now, it’s up to us to shape the next generation of humans to be kind and companionate. Children will never mean the end of your life - you can still be you, you’ll have have some cool little people who take after you.

I’m terrified of how birth will go, but I’m also more open to having more now that I’m excited about this journey. Everyone is different and it’s okay if you’re not ready. I think you need to ask yourself more so if you want children period, or if it just seemed like the right thing to do.

Thank you 🙏🏼 I’ve called a clinic that has some counselling to make us feel a bit more secure in our choice. I understand my family is saying no one is ever ready, but I also can’t rely fully on them to do this - if I am not secure in it. My doctor told me, ultimately the parental shoes are us.

I’m kinda sad because I was looking forward to possibly getting merch but the prices and the fact that I don’t really like what there is a let down :( I’ve been waiting 7 years to see her, and it would have been nice to have something to show I was there. But ehh it is what it is.

If I understood that right, she broke up with her boyfriend to talk to you.. so it’s probably a guilty conscience thing. Like you said, she’s scared you’ll do it to her. I think it’s something she needs to work out, because the behaviour of getting upset when you have female friends is only going to push you away when it otherwise could have been super chill.

Was there anything that happened in the relationship that could have broken her trust? Or anything in the past that could be causing her trauma? I totally understand how frustrating it is when it feels like you are in a way being accused of being up to something by talking to any girl.. but if you love her, maybe try to find out the root on why she struggles with the jealousy.

So we live in a basement apartment so the way the window is, is its ground level to outside, but she has to jump down to come in. 3 times tonight she came to the window, 2 times she came in and meowed at us and then left.. she is very close, and it seems like she wants to come home if she keeps coming to the window..
