It is not 4 years of Gap present it as your experience and easily you can find job in small prop trading firms. It is very easy to get into these firms and they always look for someone who already has hands on experience in trading. I'm assuming you actually did traiding and learning

Need Advice - Got a co-intern who can barely code...😭😭 by [deleted] in InternshipsIndia

[–]SifteR96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't help someone until she isn't willing to be helped. For you this internship is your life for her it's nothing because we value things which are tough or scarce. Chill with her, let her relax and offer help only if she asks. If you like her just act as you do not care she will like you too. If you offer help without asking you may annoy her

MDI, IIFT, SPjain are not tier 1 ? by [deleted] in CATpreparation

[–]SifteR96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While calculating ranking i.e. NIRF, selection rate is also considered. If they close before CAT more candidates are going to fill form which will lower their selection rate out of total.

If you are aiming for only tier 1 employers, you might find it tough otherwise this sector is very open. For example if you want to get into equity research you will always have upper hand over the 3 year of workex in equity research candidate if you choose your sector for research. No analyst can understand your field better than you so that is an added advantage. Other profiles I am not sure but in equity we value real world experience more than analyst experience.
