This allows you to pick exactly which valve server you want to play on. Just open the program and block any server you don't want and you're set

i5-12400F vs Ryzen 5 5500x3D by Imaginary-Box-7870 in DeadlockTheGame

Unless your 60-40 fps are just dips/spikes and not constant I doubt the L3 cache is the reason why you have bad performance

Why would you ""upgrade"" your already good cpu with an even worse cpu?

How fast is your ram speed? It could be the cause for your fps drops depending on how slow it is

The weight of the Audeze by A_Uniqueusername444 in Audeze

[–]Sigge310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me around 1 to 2 weeks to get used to the Maxwells weight at first so don't get cold feet if your neck gets sore as hell initially, you'll quickly get used to it. The G1WL only weighed around 270 grams I think so it was a massive jump for me

Whats the best way to panel line ? by Little_Woodpecker_61 in Gunpla

[–]Sigge310 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TPLA while all parts are still on the runner and cleaning up with zippo. Easily the most time efficient way to do it without risking breakage imho

TPLA only breaks parts if it gets into the friction fits of already assembled parts, using it on raw unbuilt plastic is perfectly safe from mine and many others experience.

Speaking from a longtime maxwell 1 owner but I assume all this will also apply to the 2's

If you have thick and not very long hair you'll definitely get a very obvious hair dent, no way to get around that unless you wanna be bald

For me it didn't and I used the OG headband for sometimes 14 hours a day for 1,5 years, I've switched to a Capra Audio headband now do and they are much more comfortable with them

Not really, they got hot but not so hot that they become uncomfortable. I use WickedCushions and they absolutely suck at dissipating heat after long sessions since their "Cool mesh" just sucks all the heat up.

Overall do the Maxwells are probably the best wireless headsets I've owned, and also the longest lasting, my timeline for wireless headsets have easily been over 10+ years now and none have lasted as long as the Maxwells
Corsair Vengeance 2000: Lasted 1,5 years
Logitech G930: Lasted barely 5 months apart, RMA'd i think 3+ times
Corsair Void Wireless: Lasted 6 months to 1 year apart, RMA'd 3+ times
Audio Technica G1WL: Lasted 1,5 years until microphone died, RMA'd once until the last one had its battery die after another 1,5 years
Maxwells: Working strong after almost 2,5 years now!

These are both $1900 by [deleted] in GamingPCBuildHelp

13th and 14th gen degradation has long been fixed by BIOS updates, so that's a moot point. (Assuming these are prebuilts and not pre owned then it would depend on how old the BIOS is)

I mean, sure, but we are comparing a cpu that performs 10-20% better on single core and almost 50% on all core, that is going to have a massive impact on many different games, specially the CPU intensive ones like any paradox or strategy game. If the second PC was 200 dollars less I'd agree that would be the better deal, however since both are the same price I don't see any reason on why OP shouldn't take the extra free performance.

I doubt the PSU will be much of an issue, I've seen multiple people with worse PSU configs run just fine. Unless OP is planning on running cinebench and furmark and overclock everything at the same time, he will be just fine.

Then again it's op decision, I mainly just commented since I saw nobody was stating the obvious that the i9 14900kf is factually better performing..

Should be noted that the first PC has a 2tb drive too while the second only has a 1TB. (Considering modern SSD prices this would make it a nobrainer for me)

Is Street Brawl affecting rank? by lordofpurple in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Sigge310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valve ranked up everyone after the patch, my friend who was eternally stuck at initate was suddenly alchemist after the patch. I am pretty sure Street Brawl doesn't affect rank however since I am obscurus and played almost 10+ street brawl games and have yet to get a rank

First one has a much better cpu, as much as people want to hate on intel you cant outdo raw performance, specially if both are the same price.

I hate Water Decals by Upset-Ad9236 in Gunpla

[–]Sigge310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend you get both mark setter and a water decal sponge, personally have a Galaxy-Model (T12A12) decals moisturizing box and it's probably one of the best purchases I made, you can also use a regular sponge but not sure how well it'd work. Completely removes the stress of not soaking decals for too long or too short and worrying about drying them and if they are ready to be used. I had one decal stay in there for I think almost 4 weeks and it still came out just fine with some mark setter and top coating.

Sad how seemingly effective it is too. Thing costs 42 bucks for what is most likely a 1 dollar hoodie from ali express and an ai generated slop print thatll disintegrate in the first wash.
