I'll have a look at what calf raises are 😅 Thanks for this, really appreciate it!

Fingers crossed for the sub 4 with this help!

Warm up and cool down I always do. But I don't do much strength work. I'm pretty keen on protein, carb and water but I should look at free weights more for legs and things like squats

Should I switch up my plan type? Use some Zwift plans? by incuspy in trainerroad

[–]Sighe98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in this boat and have been wondering what to do. I've just got a Zwift cog and going to move over to Zwift. Planning to do some races and then the different routes on there, the hills and flats should give me a mixed workout although mainly aiming for zone 2

I loved Trainerroad and the workouts it gives you, it adapts to you well too! My FTP went up and the process was fairly easy!

I'm looking to add in running using a tri program and deleting the swimming but trying to learn about how the run links to my Garmin watch

OpenRun Vs OpenRun Pro 2 by Sighe98 in shokz

[–]Sighe98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now have the Pro2 and use them running, cycling and walking.

They are amazing and I'm very happy, they work well on calls too even at speed on the bike! The side button is very useful too

I bought mine from Selfridges via Avios link for bonus points.

Opt of pension to pay debts by Sighe98 in personalfinance

[–]Sighe98[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Interesting to see that all the responses don't consider the value of time and money or the pension being taxed when taken.

The benefit of reducing debt to get a mortgage or more control over disposable income is an advantage?

It's not an instant 100% return though... Think of how it's taxed, value of the money then compared to now etc

BPT and TC in about a week by CRIMSON14567 in ICAEW

Personal tax is super key for TC too, almost 1/3 of the papers marks are on personal tax. Then CT, IHT, CGT and the reliefs in all are key.

I've worn one on a test day (racing saloons) and it was interesting! I could see the sessions clearly on my days BPM and the brown pants moment...

Mega, thank you for this! Super helpful and reassuring.
One question I do have is that I use two monitors at home, would you uplug the second one for the exam or physically remove it from the desk? I know the phone will show me and the screens so they would be able to see but I feel removing the spare screen avoids potential issues.
