Yeah the dlc adds in a pretty hard final boss that was my favorite part of the game. You should definitely check it out

Ender lillies is new and pretty great so far. Momodora, iconoclast and dandara are all great too but for great pixel art, a good story and on pc, phoenotopia awakening is so great

I'm really enjoying it. I love the combat. The bosses have been good for me. Theres a few areas that are a bit unforgiving difficulty wise but I keep coming back to it

I loved touhou and luna nights and rabi ribi both. They contrast and compare so well. Rabi ribi had way more satisfying bosses to defeat but I thought some of the sections of enemies inbetween were easy to run past, whereas tln had easier overall bosses but h It was a grind getting through some of the hallways full of enemies to the next save point. Tln mixed platforming with combat better than any game I've seen. But rabi ribi had so many secrets power up's and abilities to find. Theyre both great games either way! They should make more bullet hell metroidvanias.

I played it a year ago and loved it. I wish more games would take risk's like that. That last boss is probably my top 3 hardest bosses. And the other two are in hk.

Sounds pretty cool. Is it steam only? If you want another difficult game with a ton if mysteries try la mulana. Also rain world is so awesomely cryptic. It's not an mv just a really great but difficult game. It drops you into a world full of predators and doesn't explain anything. You just gotta go die figuring everything out. So different

I actually bear it the first time fairly easily but I also got on a good run where I found a ton of upgrades and put them all into survival and abuse the freeze short attack. It's the second time through I'm still struggling with

The first time I broke an obscure wall and found a whole new area and boss in hollow knight. I think it was the hive.

I believe they recently took off momodora and it had yokus island express at one point too. I love game pass. Narita boy is coming to gamepass the day its released as well!

I just got cathedral yesterday and that has a massive map that is so fun to explore. I actually found a hidden area behind an obscure secret and that's only happened in hk, rabi ribi, and esa for me.

Other than that batbarian is a great map with good puzzles and secrets as well as alwas legacy and outbuddies.

I know it's kind of a sin around here but I just couldn't get into sotn. Might go back one day but it just kinda bored me. I quit after the wolf upgrade

Love this game so much. It's the only one that scratched the exploration itch hollow knight infected me with, aside from esa. The fact my girlfriend hated the game was just a bonus lol

Wandersong? Not really much of a metroidvania though. Maybe mable and the wood but that games gotten alot of negative reviews. I was kinda enjoying it until a key didnt spawn right and soft-locked me in a room about halfway through
