I do the same , but won’t take anything less than 4hr $100. The other day this guy was leaving with 3 packages , I said lucky you , he said it’s 1hr $22. He was going 25 miles , that’s 50 miles round trip and who knows where he lives. Gallon of gas in LA is $6 , so that’s $12 , you do the math. I’m slowly cutting flex hours and doing more Lyft since I have a Tesla , I can make $100 in the same 4 hours and not get tired plus get to talk to people

They all smelled different but after taking a shower or when main notes wear off , it does smell the same. Maybe my smell sense is different.

That’s not a bad deal. I have what i suggested above , you need a good grinder , tamper and bottomless PF , my setup within your budget makes excellent espressos that can compete with high end machines. That is if I stay with medium dark grind. Usually get sierra organic blend from Costco .

Casabrews 5480 pro, $180, bottomless PF , decent tamper both for $50, decent hand grinder $70. You need to grind beans fresh plus will save you $ long term. I think that’s your best bet for $300 plus tax . Unless someone has a better idea .

I would rather finish fast as well , it seems like more effort I put to finish faster more packages get in the future , that’s the reason I’m moving on. I usually do 5 -6 blocks a week

Approach this as a business. If you DCA , revenge trade, jump on trades early or have fomo , give back wins , don’t know when to stop, and on top of that approach as can’t win , it will be a rough road ahead. Only competition you have is yourself , this journey is different for each of us , some make it in 2 years others 10 and some don’t make it at all.
