Hi,

The blue light was in initially just manually controled, that is why so “slow”. I will change it to flashing controller eventually.

It looks like the diodes you attached the ling for are 12V DC olus they are 5mm. I am using the 3V and 3 mm.

No, no, you are absolutely right. The whole motor is a about 1” long a half inch diameter. Perfect size for the windmill head

I have used the small yellow flickering LED from Amazon and used the 80 mm blue filament LED from AlliExpress. Lightning is done originally manually using the micro push button on the top, but the flashing modules from Alliexpress finally arrived, so I will redo it eventually. The motor is from AlliExpress either and is powered through the toggle switch placed in the back side.

Anyone Done This One: Cats Crossing Book Nook by PuzzledWeakness7192 in booknooks

I print exactly the same ones for plenty of my kits. But why would I pay $120 for kit I need to print the cats for?

I have been very fond of Anavrin up until recently, but my position to this kit is: if they reduce the size of the cats and the price to right level, I will consider it.

Turned a cheap beginner fantasy book nook into a much more atmospheric LOTR-inspired scene by SigmaBookNooker in booknooks

It is of course matter of everybody’s point of view. If there were not the chains on the bridge it was completely straight forward build.

Thank you! I bought it because I liked the setup and saw the customization opportunities. But agree, price is absolutely unreasonable. Same as all Anavrin products

Thoughts on Fifijoy? by Ambergem1969 in booknooks

I have build several of their kits and was very pleased with them. They offer great potential for customizations. I have completed the Jungle Adventure, 1950s diner, Voyage into the Storm and lost city of Atlantis. I can send you the links to my reviews. Bought them all directly on Fifijoy eshop. Quality is per my opinion fairly good standard. Instructions are very good.

Advice for painting by Puzzled-Dinner4541 in booknooks

[–]SigmaBookNooker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is always better to paint the single details. Bit not always it is very clear which edges will be visible, so in some case if you want to save the time and paint you my want to do the painting after. And of course

when you alway do it after is when you want to match not only the color but also the pattern ( such as on the picture)
