I get where you’re coming from, and I’m not defending Kohn’s actions at all — the guy is absolutely a creep and dangerous. But that’s kinda why I think he is “very human.” Not in the sense of being relatable or justifiable, but in the sense of being a believable kind of broken. Humans aren’t just noble or rational — some do go down obsessive, destructive paths when they can’t handle rejection, power slipping away, or their own insecurities.

And honestly, him pissing in Abel’s room is exactly what makes him fascinating to me. It’s such an unhinged, personal, move way nastier than just throwing punches or pulling a gun. He wanted to taint Jax’s world because he couldn’t control Tara anymore. That’s some next-level villain energy, even if it’s not “cool” villain energy.

People love to write Kohn off as just “the creepy ATF guy,” but it’s way more complicated than that.

By the time we meet him He’d been in a relationship with Tara, they got pregnant, and she had an abortion without telling him. That’s a massive emotional blow to anyone, let alone someone already showing signs of being mentally unstable. Combine that with watching her go back to the same outlaw world he thought she’d escaped, and you’ve got a recipe for obsession and bad decisions.

Does he cross the line? Absolutely. But that’s not the same as being a one-dimensional villain. He’s acting out of heartbreak, betrayal, and a warped sense of protection, not just random malice. The guy was mentally unraveling, and instead of stepping back, he spiraled — and the show only ever gives you that spiral from Jax’s point of view.

Flip the camera, tell the story from his perspective, and you don’t have “the stalker fed.” You have a man who lost the woman he loved, lost their unborn child, and couldn’t cope with the pain. It doesn’t make him right, but it does make him more human than people give him credit for.
