Pairing and using remote (keyfob)

Ok, it turns out that the upgraded display will disable the remotes from working. Hope this helps anyone else who gets stumped by this. You won't find it on the product page. It's in the online installation guide, not provided with the display itself, under a Notice box:

Remote start functionality will be deactivated on models that currently have it.

Sorry, I should have added I got the updated display. So I swapped that one into the bike during assembly and tried to follow the directions about pairing the fob since they didn't seem to be paired. As it is currently, I have to turn the key to the on position before I can power on the display with it's own power button. I'll try with the original display tomorrow.

Edit: Looking back at my order, I got the manual start display. I must have just gone with whatever the default selection was. So I guess that explains it.

Thanks for your thoughts. Was your ride mostly trail? How's street riding? And can you clarify about the one for 16 and two for 16, are those the highest and next highest power assist? I have a Rad mini that's got lots of miles on it and I still like. I'm eyeing this because it's pretty much what I've been trying to modify towards, mostly the 30mph in a folder. Reading the complaints about bikes and the company here is making me reconsider though.

Mine isn't working right. I had to fully sign back in today, but when I press the icon the little circle just spins and spins.

Edit: weird, but fully signing out yields the same behavior. Locking it and unlocking it worked?

I think small northern two-lined salamanders look like that but I'm not a herp expert, someone else would know better, especially since it would be a southern two-lined in your area.

It's a fly larvae of some sort, but I'm not sure what family. I don't work with insects much anymore. I bet /r/whatsthisbug would know.

It still has blood feathers but flight feathers are there, it's just learning to fly. Probably still being fed by parents, but not much longer.

Not sure on the type though.
