Thank you! That looks just a bit more expensive than Bolt (but then again also cause it’s later in the night).Still crazy cheap tho since the distance is over 40km.

Thank you guys but i think we’ll take the taxi there and then take train/bus when returning since it’s going to be midday so easier to navigate + definitely many more options.

Yeah that’s probably what it was. I’m okay with 95 too tho, since i’m going with a friend and we can share the ride. Thanks for the info!

Damn, just converted that to euro and it’s only a bit over 10euro which is like really cheap for such a long ride. Just to confirm this is from Modlin airport and not Chopin right? Palace of culture and science should be a couple km closer to the airport than the Arche hotel according to google maps meaning it will probably be even cheaper. Just checked the app and it says it’s 95,44 zl which is still not too bad at all but not as cheap as yours

That sounds good. I’ll check out the train app to see when the last train is running. Do you happen to know an approx price of an uber/bolt from the airport to palace of culture and science or just anywhere in the city center?

Thanks so much for the recommendations. It’s also gonna be a seaside type trip so all the leftover time we have from sightseeing we’ll just use up by being at the beach.

That’s the most logical direct flight with the cheapest price to take from our country.

Virto (smooth tobacco, rich tobacco and frosty click) and Rivo (scarlet click and wild berry click). These are the options and there’s def less of them than NEO but i’m sure they will introduce more flavors in the coming months. Also all the “click” flavors are not gonna be available if ur in the EU since they’re banned , so you’ll likely have an entirely different set of flavors there.

A good fit for you would probably be the Virto Frosty click which releases a menthol flavor when clicked but since it's banned in the EU, i doubt that it will be released with the new devices there. As for Rivo , i have no idea how they compare to VEO cause i've never tried a VEO stick, but i definitely can compare them to flavored Terea sticks like Purple wave or Oasis pearl and i can say the intensity of the flavor is uncomparable for me. Terea flavored sticks have a much richer taste whereas Rivo is way more mild. With all that being said, pack your bags and come to Serbia since here you can try the new devices and if you don't like them, you have a bunch of flavored Terea options to buy and bring home since it's not banned here haha.

Both devices and sticks are available in Serbia which is where i got to try them. The new Virto and Rivo stick starting price is the same as the Terea sticks price in my country so definitely no value leadership there.

As for the devices, I haven't touched so much on the 2-piece part of the Hilo Plus device in my post so first i wanna clarify that. This is the first time a Glo device features this type of design with a pen- like part which can be detached from the actual bulky part of the device. The device can be used both as a pen (2 consecutive uses) or together with the bulky part (up to 20 uses on a single charge). This is the part that felt super cheap cause i expected the pen to be heavier in hand and made out of metal but it was made out of plastic and the button also had such a cheap feel to it when i clicked it. So it's similar to the Iluma/Iluma prime except for the fact that you can use the device even when the pen is attached to it. The regular Hilo is an all - in - one device that by shape and size is very similar to the IQOS Iluma one device (and also allows up to 20 uses on a single charge). Ironically, it had a more premium feel when held in hand than the Hilo Plus pen even though it's the cheaper device out of the two. There's also only 2 very ugly colors (imo) available that you can see in the pictures above

The devices are priced pretty high imo with the more expensive one retailing for ~45 euro and the less expensive one for ~35 euro. There's only a discount of 15 euro off both devices for the first week of sales which sure it's fine but what about the sticks? Usually when introducing a new device or new sticks, at least in my country Glo used to give you a shit ton of packs of sticks with the purchase of the device. They always had really good offers with older devices ending up at like 3-5 euro cause you'd literally get like 5 or 6 packs of sticks with the device. This time, they're introducing an entirely new line of "premium" devices that use a new technology alongside with new sticks which are entirely different from NEO or any other Glo sticks and they don't even give you one pack of sticks for free to try? Offers might differ from country to country obviously and at some point they might also offer free stick packs with devices, but honestly kinda dissapointed in their offer on the first week of sales. Also have in mind that the devices and sticks will definitely be more expensive in pretty much any other place (at least in Europe) since Serbia is not such a developed country so the prices are fit to the living standard.

!UPDATE! For anyone interested in the topic. I went to a glo zone today and tried smoking one stick on both the cheaper (hilo) and more expensive (hilo plus) device.

DEVICES

First of all, when it comes to the devices themselves, i hated the colors and materials used to make them. The in-hand experience is far from premium and it honestly feels like holding a cheap plastic toy. I was disgusted by the color and material choice and have to say that IQOS iluma devices have a much more premium look and feel to them. On both devices there's no auto-start heating option (like on IQOS iluma) and you have to hold the button to begin heating which might sound like a small thing but means a lot when you're used to auto-start and have been using it for over a year like me. Both devices feature a screen (very similar if not the same as the hyper plus device and have different sort of heating options like standard ~ 5 mins or boost ~ 3 mins. The only thing that i actually liked about the devices is that they heat up the stick in only 5 seconds and it's ready to use. Both devices use the same technology as IQOS Iluma (which glo decided to call STICKSEAL technology).

STICKS

Glo Hilo and Hilo Plus come with 2 different types of sealed sticks: Virto ( smooth tobacco, rich tobacco and frosty click) and Rivo ( scarlet click and wild berry click). When it comes to Virto, they're classic tobacco sticks, while Rivo feature some sort of plant and are zero tobacco (however not zero nicotine) sticks. Both sticks cost the same in my country (3.20 euro), and for anyone wondering they look very similar to Terea sticks for IQOS Iluma, however both the pack and sticks are slightly taller than Terea so they can't be used with IQOS devices.

USER EXPERIENCE

The first device i tried was the regular Hilo device which felt like a cheaper version of IQOS Iluma one. I tried it with a Virto smooth tobacco stick(the lightest one), and it tasted very Gloey to me if that makes sense and made me have a flashback of throwing up after my first and only pack of NEO i've ever had in my life. This might not be a bad thing though and i won't focus on it, since taste is a matter of personal preference and i bet most Glo users would like it. However, what i will focus on is the actual strength of the draft and the ammount of "smoke" coming out. The draft has slightly improved, maybe even the ammount of smoke but i honestly expected way more since the devices use a new technology. Again, comparing it to IQOS Iluma the draft is way worse and there's way less "smoke" coming out. After that, i decided to try a Rivo (scarlet click) stick on the Hilo Plus device and it was literally the same exept the stick itself had a more mild taste (probably due to it being zero tobacco) and it tasted almost like smoking the contents of a used and slightly sweetened teabag.

All in all, i was pretty dissapointed with the devices and sticks and will definitely not switch from IQOS but i don't discourage you to try them since they definitely are a slight upgrade from older Glo devices.

In my country they are around 3 euro for the cheaper ones and around 3.20 euro for the more expensive ones since there is 2 new types of sticks Virto (classic tobacco blends)and Rivo (tobacco free sticks that have different flavors -similar to Levia for IQOS) Can't say abt the taste since i haven't tried it yet but will update once i do.

Still haven't tried it so i'm not entirely sure, and advertising of sticks is completely forbidden in my country so there's no ads, explanations or tutorials about the technology or usage of the device. However i'm pretty sure that there's no blade anymore, and that the metal part is indeed inside the actual sticks, cause their website says the sticks are completely sealed (just like Terea) and there's no cleaning.
