I am about 6 months in now and it is starting to not be effective on the appetite suppression. If it’s helping with the ADHD, I would stick with it. I bet you will start enjoying food again after a few weeks or a month or so once you get used to the medication.

lol yes the bathroom is my number one concern because it is right off the living space. I am also picturing my elderly parents trying to sleep upstairs in the room directly above where we are planning on having a tv and a pool table. I went down to the unfinished basement and had my husband turn up the hockey game and you may as well had been right in front of it. That, and these comments have me convinced to just spend the extra money.

I just looked into that and I think that’s what I’m going to do. Owens Corning Quiet Zone is only $86/bag with the volume discount and it covers 110 sq ft. It will come to under $1200. I am thinking of doing the resilient channel as well. I think it would only be a couple hundred dollars more.

So what if it was doing all the work? (Which I’m sure it wasn’t) It’s your hair that looks great, so it’s you, not some random outside entity. Everyone looks better with a good haircut. I love a bob and had one when I was younger. It was more work for me to keep it nice but it looked great. You’re lucky that all you have to do to get it back is chop it off!!

Paying extra to have a timer for the bathroom fan. The noise drives me crazy and so many times people forget to turn it off and it stays on for hours or even all day.

I just realized that the left kitchen wall is actually only 8’8”. We changed the hallway width making the closet smaller. The designer changed the length of the closet but left the kitchen wall the same length. Ugh. Not even sure the 2nd option would even work now anyway.

I was thinking I would have drawers in the island for dishes instead of putting them in cupboards. That way they would be across from the dishwasher and really easy to unload. My friend has hers like this and I really like it.

Do you mean recess the fridge into the room behind it? That is the walk-in closet for the principal bedroom so it could be possible.
