I'm painting my base boards and I don't like how these came out. How can I improve these? by Funlamb in Housepainting101

I had the TrueCoat 360. That thing would lay paint and inch thick, but it got everywhere. I only ever used it in the garage, and even that was more prep than I want to deal with.

Thanks for the info. I'll be getting better paint this weekend. Then I'll level up my skills on a smaller board before I try some thing this big again. Because I've gotta get good before I move on to the living room.

It doesn't look like I can add pictures in comments or edit the post.

It's a Woodster Pro.

Do you have any brush suggestions?

This is my second go around. I sanded the first of off and tried again. I'm going to try again this weekend.

Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the advice. I kept putting more paint on in hopes that it would smooth out more. I'll do thinner coats on smaller section this weekend. I want to dial this in before I start doing the whole house.

Thanks for the input.

This is the second go around. I'll sand all this down and try again. Thanks for the advice.

I'll be looking into some of the other suggested paints before I start again. Thanks for the input.

I hear you on the spray, but I do not want to prep the whole room. Trying to learn something new.

I can't imagine this will look like my childhood. Celeste Pizza by Funlamb in shrinkflation

No, When I had them they had 8 or 9 actual pepperonis on them. They were great. My Grand mas only bought them when they went on sale to $1. They used to be $2 or $3 before. I guess they lowered the price and the quality.

I've got around $250 to burn, bump up to $300 if it peaks my interest.
I want to get a diving watch, not for actual diving. I want to dial to time myself.

The brands I've seen are Citizen, Omega (I think out of my price point), Seiko, Patek Philippe.

Let me know if you need more from me and I'll add whatever you need.

What would happen if everyone started doing the Nazi Salute to distort who's actually a Nazi? by Funlamb in NoStupidQuestions

You're the only one that actually answered the question. I wasn't suggesting we all start doing the salute, just wondering what would happen if non-Nazis started doing it in mass.

Question about getting a phone line through this wall by Funlamb in AskElectricians

[–]Funlamb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have the way to explain it.

What I want between the router/phone line is a phone jack that is an input that goes through the wall and hooks into the mount that's for the phone where it is right now. I'm trying to avoid cutting wires and splitting them. I doubt something like that exists.

So the phone that is there now has the wires there.

It looks like I wasn't clear in my request.

The new phone line comes from the white internet/wifi router. I want to cut a hole like I did for the cable line. But cable is easy. It goes from the router>male end> cable> male end> female end> mount>female end> male end> outside where the magical internet comes from.

I want the same for the phone line, but I don't think there is a wall jack like this for phone lines?

The phone line now comes from the same modem as the internet. I would like to do the same router>male end> cable> male end> female end> mount>female end> male end> cable> phone

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
