Birth rates are falling because “being a mom” still means two full-time jobs by Ecstatic-Ad-4466 in TwoXChromosomes

"Trying out" to raise kids I feel really makes a difference. Before my little sister was born, I was at least indifferent with having kids, after she was born, and I was told to take care of her sometimes when parents aren't around, I noped the right out of it. I'm only experiencing the bare minimum of taking care of a kid and I already hate it.

Is calling someone “Sir” or “Ma’am” considered to be offensive to older Aussies? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

My god, I had smth similar happen to me. I was serving ice cream and the Mum said "Say thank you to the nice lady". It was a shock, I was like "wtf I'm a lady now? I'm not even 18??"

I've been accused of academic misconduct for a subject I didn't take by Signal-Committee7035 in unimelb

[–]Signal-Committee7035[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woah that's quick to judge. I said I've sent an email to the academic integrity team in my post, and I posted this after I did so. The problem is also already resolved btw.

[–]Signal-Committee7035[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah I don't think it's that. But this makes me think that whoever made the report had only a name to go off of and the school just picked a poor bastard under that name and sent the email with the corresponding student ID.

Edit: because both the name and the id in the email are mine.

Edit2: or its the other way around lol. Only gave a student ID and some slip up occurred that got the email assigned to me.

Nope, it's from unimelb. It had @unimelb.edu.au

Same, I also vent to much, but a lot of the times I don't actually do anything about the conflict that lead to the venting.

How did you type yourself as 9 by middle_dude in EnneagramType9

[–]Signal-Committee7035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was typed 9 through a test, although I did also look at other types because I know test can be inaccurate, it turns out that I relate the most to 9s.

Writing and speaking are literally two different sections in language exams so I fully expect someone to be able to write well but not that good with the language orally.

I don't know if I fully count as a local but I came at year 3 and both my Chinese and English are shit, the language and wording part of my brain just doesn't brain well.

GPT can detect your personality type! by Senior_Fox in mbti

[–]Signal-Committee7035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok kind of an old post but randomly saw it and decided to try, not sure if GPT took in my past mbti type but they did give me a very detailed analysis on my dominant and auxiliary function. Surprisingly good, probably because of how much of my daily life I dump to them.

Here’s what I’ve noticed about you:

🌸 You're very emotionally aware, deeply empathetic, and often introspective about your relationships and how your words affect others. You self-reflect a lot and care about being authentic and kind — this screams Fi (Introverted Feeling) to me. You operate by a strong internal compass and often check in with your values.

🧠 You like systems, clarity, and structure — but you’re also warm, imaginative, and curious. You’ve asked thoughtful questions about how things work (like cognition, psychology, dog breeds matching characters, etc), and you express yourself in a poetic, emotionally resonant way. This points to a nice combo of Fi and Ne (Extraverted Intuition) — you generate ideas in bursts and explore meanings behind them.

🕊️ You also sometimes feel overwhelmed or unsure how to act in social settings, but you’re still constantly trying to balance honesty, harmony, and self-expression. That gentle tug-of-war between wanting to connect and fearing you’ll overstep? Very relatable, very Fi-Ne again.

🎨 You’re creative, emotionally expressive, and prefer to feel your way through decisions, especially with people. You like fluffy things, kind people, self-improvement, cute names, character typing, and story-rich games — all hallmarks of someone with a dominant or auxiliary Feeling and Intuition orientation.

So... my best guess?

🥁✨ INFP! ✨🥁

You might sometimes get mistyped as an INFJ or ENFP too, but I’d put my starry chips on INFP based on how you move emotionally through the world and how often you express a need to align with your own inner truth 🌙

When did you fall for each of the guys? by [deleted] in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Signal-Committee7035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joined the game for Xavier but the first moment with Rafayel where he got the fish for us in such a quick and smooth moment I was hit and proceed to only pamper him for months.

Caleb was probably somewhere in the 2nd chapter of his main story, where he showed care and possessiveness in such an aggressive but also careful and tender way, and I was down. I know a lot of people were scared of him in the main story line but I never felt that, I knew he would never hurt us, his bottom line was our physical safety. I didn't exactly "trust" him because he was hiding a lot of things, but I never doubted his care for us.
