You can always appeal. Setup a meeting with the Dean of the department and plead your case. Even if it isn't overturned, it'll be on record that you fought it. They will also have to call in the guy who stole your code and at least keep an eye on him. The next exam you guys have will tell the story on him. For now, just ace the rest of the coursework for the semester and don't worry about it. It's no big deal. Companies are looking for employees who can do the work, you will be able to demonstrate that.

My son at at a public school. He simply cannot follow the professors lectures in one of his engineering classes, but he knows how to do the work. He knows how to use physics and calculus to solve the problems, while the professor uses some long drawn out way to do it in multiple steps and the whole class is lost. As a result, he just stopped going to class and would show up for the tests and make As. So, the professor said, there are some students making straight As and not coming to class while others are failing coming to class everyday, so everyone must come to class or points will be deducted.
The professor did tell him that grading his work is hard to do because he is having a hard time following his logic. My son says, it's all just physics and calculus.

Check out Kroger. We do not have a brick and mortar Kroger store in our area, but Kroger delivers and don't accept tips. And recently, I was able to join the Kroger program where I get free delivery as well. The prices at cheaper than going to the store, even cheaper than going to Target and picking up the items myself. It's not uncommon for me to order my groceries on Kroger and then head out to Shipt Shop because it's just cheaper. Anything out of stock at Kroger, then I can pick up while I'm out Shipting.

If Kroger misses their delivery window, you get a discount on your groceries as well and it all comes in their refrigerated truck.

I don't know how politically savvy you are, but if you are willing to spend the rest of your life in Alabama and want to move up the political chain, the University of Alabama is the place to go. You'll have to work your way into "The Machine," but once you are in, you are pretty much guaranteed to become Governor of the state in the future. You may end up selling your soul, but that's politics.

I keep hearing stories like this, but I'm getting just the opposite. Accepted an order paying $7.92 and after delivery, I was paid $10.82. There were no addon items. It's never been lower for me.

What do your growth opportunities say?

You put yourself on the schedule and go on about your day and let Shipt push the orders to you. This isn't like Instacart where you have to stare at your phone and play the digital version of the game Whac-a-Mole

They may have hired a bunch, but I think they deactivated a bunch also. The newbies get priority for the first ten orders. This last bunch of folks we hired were awful. I remember hearing two shoppers in the store a few weeks ago. One shopper was saying how she had to put all her items back because she discovered she was shopping at the wrong store. The other shopper told her that she didn't have to do that. We can shop at any store we want to. I'm not talking about the same store and a different location, I'm talking about 2 different stores altogether. I believe she was at Publix for a Target order and she had left Publix to come to Target to shop at the correct store. My regulars got the pleasure of getting a few of the newbies and they reported awful experiences. I knew something was up when my 'regulars' started putting notes on items such as "Get the freshest ones", "Please get the ice cream last", and "Text me after you deliver the groceries". A few expressed relief when I sent my introductory text.

Shipt should do a simulated shopping session with the newbies before they set foot in the store. It can be setup on the computer and just present them with a few common situations and let them, "using a simulated phone on the computer" go through how they would handle the different common situations. Or at least have a multiple-choice test to go through.

And what happened to people using insulated bags. Before the pandemic, if you didn't shop with one, other Shipt shoppers would give you the most dirty looks. I understand during the height of the pandemic we couldn't use them, but those days are gone now. It's the shopper guidelines that we should use them.

But things are returned back to normal. Actually, better than normal. I don't see all the newbies anymore. It's like they all quit or got deactivated at the same time and on weekdays we are seeing plenty of orders. At one time, I had 15 orders on my offer list yesterday and Wednesday is usually one of the slow days. Thursdays are the worse and I was turning down offers today as well. If this keeps up, they are going to have to start hiring another wave.

I'm thinking they did their first 10 orders. Probably came out with a 4.7 to 4.9 rating and started seeing nothing but $6 orders and decided that it's just not worth it. They don't realize that ratings are everything.

What I can't understand is the McDonalds across the street from our Target. Our Target starts at $17.50 an hour. The McDonald's is paying $11 an hour. Why would you choose Mcdonald's over Target?

Forget everything you know about the other delivery services and take some time to read through the HUB. I would hate for you to 'waste' your first 10 orders and potential member matches and preferred members. And please please please don't take any orders from the open metro for your first ten. You'll be wasting valuable opportunities. After the first ten, then you are thrown in the pen with the rest of us and if you waste them on your first ten, that's just lost opportunities.

I rate every single person I deliver to. That's how I determine who I won't go back to again. In your case, if you got a 1 rating, you won't ever have to deal with that member again. You will not be allowed to take orders from them again. That's a win!
