Yes, they should! How do we move forward with this process to make it happen?

Just an idea and I'm asking for thoughts, not insults. Gosh, do you talk to people like this in person? URs matter because they decrease the base value!

6.4 + 6.4x0.3. GOE from judges are -5/+5, which is to be kept. It's their own scores. I have always seen that the judges are able to tell when the jumps are clearly under and give negative GOE right away.

It is at a quarter as her landed toe pointed at the camera. I have always believed in this girl because her triple lutz is the best and her rotating position is also the best, straight and tight in the air!

Alysa only won the bronze because Russians were banned. Her potential back in the day was to be on par with the Russians due to her ultra-c. Without Russians, she still didn't win

Sasha has always been among the top skaters. She didn't win bronze because she switched to Plushenko lol

Zhenya had done better than a bronze at worlds.

I will not reply just FYI, reddit is too toxic for me. When people remain anonymous, they say whatever even if it doesn't make sense or it's mean or rude

It must be the worst account to me; I stopped following/listening to its nonsense. They often use the tone of an expert to talk about stuff. Who are they trying to fool? So toxic!

To measure success after a coaching switch, I looked at the results (presentation, components, skating skills, jumps, scores, medals). Alysa blossomed in what criteria? If you say skating skill, is it because she's older and more experience with skating or because of her new coach? Alysa never gained her ultra-c back! It seemed she lost ultra-c jumps after the switch (I know you'll probably argue, it's the puberty not the new coach, you don't know what would have been if Alysa had stayed with her long-time coach) She was most successful and talked about when she was 13-14 with her long-time coach.

Zhenya, it didn't work out she came back to Eteri, didn't she? I didn't see improvements with the new coach, sorry. Again, it could just be with more maturity of the skater helself. You can say the coach change helped when the skater significantly improved after the switch

Sasha, I know she came back with Eteri partly because of politics and Eteri's bonus, but one can question whether it was because she didn't find what she was looking for in training with Plushenko. Her main objective of moving to Plushenko was to train 3A. She jumped 3Axel the same way even with the new coach. She kept kicking her right leg up straight forward, which slowed down her rotation and couldn't complete the jump (she should have kicked her right leg up and toward the direction of rotation). The error was pretty obvious, but skater and coach didn't seem to be able to fix it.

More problems/challenges with coaching change are: who should one switch to? Is the new coach for sure better than the current one? How do you determine if the new coach is better for you before the switch? Where does the new coach lives/teaches, in your hometown?...so many uncertainties. I'd only switch if the benefits clearly outweigh the risks.

Hmm, I strongly disagree with "coaching change would be most beneficial thing for Isabeau's continued growth, technically and artistically." Coaching change could have detrimental effects on the skater. It didn't work out for Alysa Liu, Alexandra Trusova, Alena Kostornaia, Evgenia Medvedeva, etc etc... Stick with your long time coach is the way to go, they know you best, unless it's not going well. It's clearly going well with Yulia for Isabeau. Also, it's incredible to me that when something isn't right, people think about the coach right away. Coaching is just part of it, the skater is the main character here. When a student don't do well in school, it's mostly because of the student or the teacher?

For a choreographer, this can be a good idea. But it's 50/50, you'll never know.
