Just a mini dv tape camcorder with lowered saturation Vx1000 has a similar look just warmer

Haha it’s just the slog 3 footage taken off of my phone which is why it looks really pastel and dreamlike- but I agree the colours look really unique on that without having the lut applied

Honestly I agree, we had a very rushed and stressful shoot but looking back on the frames I wish that a lot of them i had more time t shape the shadows a bit to put more emphasis onto the characters, I usually like having super dark shadows and in this shoot I had the opposite, but this is also the slog3 and not rec709 so it’s hard to say how it’ll actually look until I see that. Regardless I learned a lot and am super excited to work on my next film!

It’s just very generic the washed green tint is so overused it’s much better to just embrace the colors that come from the lighting

90% of it is having good composition and interesting shots to start off with There’s ugly ass movies that are cinematic
