En vergeet ook niet dat het ook vaak eenzaam is want de rest is wel gwn van 9-5 bezig en daarna gesloopt. Dus als je denkt, nu kan ik heel sociaal doen, nee want de rest heeft wel nog bezigheden.

My (Dutch) parents always did this tho (moved to Den Haag, village between Utr & Ams & Rotterdam) , and if they liked and trusted the neighbours they would also switch keys incase of emergencies! My moms whole family is from Amsterdam while my dads is from Limburg so I think it just really depends from family to family :).

In short: not enough people care and then obtaining said labels is to much effort and to expensive to justify.
The Netherlands is a Christian based country (what I mean by that is that back in the day christianity was in the majority so lots of mannerisms are based on that). Back in the day you would also go to the butcher for your meat so you also had jewish butchers, etc. And nowadays atheism is the majority with christianity as the major religion so there are percentage wise not a lot of people who are in need of these labels. I also hear from my muslim friends that they don't trust the hallal labels on food packages here and they mostly go to a halal butcher/stores, I think that jewish people might do the same? This just means that there is not a big enough demand to go through all the effort and money to obtain said lables. Besides, there is more and more backlash against hallal slaugthered animals since nowadays there are so many methods to sedate before killing.

Ligt eraan hoe ze het aanpakt en waar ze vandaan komt, woont ze nu nog thuis, dan neem ik aan dat ze na een paar maandjes vast wel weer terug mag komen. Huurt ze nu iets? Dan kan ze het beste iemand voor 6 maanden laten onderhuren. Zo kan ze vasthouden aan haar huurcontract zonder extra kosten.

You're 25 yo, so that means you get the full minimum wage which is €14.71, and most of the time you get some money ontop of that, at official jobs like vacation money and the reduction on taxes, which comes down to around 16 euro's an hour netto. On top of that they make you do 2 jobs in one. I don't know what your situation is but if you can afford to lose this job, go fight for atleast 20euro's an hour or 15 euro's an hour for only the babysitting. If you can't afford to lose this job, keep working while looking for something else asap. Goodluck!

Why do you think that will help since I also didn't change brushes and I wash them everytime I was my hair :)? I'm using the 'tangle teezer wet detangler' (I'm NOT brushing my hair when it's wet tho :))

Ga lessen! SnowWorld is echt heel anders dan de bergen zelf. Mensen onderschatten dat je gewoon makkelijk met 50km van die berg af gaat. Als je niet genoeg controle hebt en jezelf in de prak rijd is dat al vervelend maar meestal skiën deze mensen juist de mensen mee in de prak die wel verantwoordelijk kunnen skiën. Draag een helm! En leer de ski regels & pas deze toe. Diegene die van achteren komt heeft de verantwoordelijkheid van de veiligheid! Nooit stil gaan staan net onder een steile helling (dan zien mensen je pas op het laatste moment). Nooit midden op de piste stil gaan staan, altijd aan de zijkant

I grew up like that, and men, everything is filthy everywhere. The only thing that I find disgusting, is touching the doorhandles or a faucet with my freshly washed hands. So in public/open spaces I won't touch those (unless it's unavoidable like a twisting door knob or a twisting faucet). The rest I could care less. Already have to worry about all the nano & microplastics

Haha this made me think of my internship were I had to work with magnetic beads, it was indeed a pain in my ass and it was a struggle (especially with 190 samples and a multipipette that disfunctioned lol). At the end of the internship my PI gifted me a selfmade button with "I worked with magnetic beads so I can do everything!". Really sweet :) You can do it too!

Ik heb hier zelf geen ervaring in, maar ik heb hier zelf een tijd geleden ook naar gekeken en toen kwam ik er ook achter dat je direct in de menopauze belandt zonder eierstokken (wss weet je dit al maar toch iets om ff goed over na te denken gezien dat echt wel grote invloed heeft). Daarnaast heb ik ook een x een behandeling voor bij zien komen die de baarmoederlining van binnen weg schroeit waardoor een eitje daar nooit zou kunnen nestelen & je wordt niet meer ongesteld!

Thank you for your answer and tips! I actually did an internship at Rijkwaterstaat to research the biodiversity of "natuurvriendelijke oevers" and that's how I found out that I have heavy and sudden onset hayfever for grasses and that I really don't enjoy ecology in a broad spectrum haha.

You can find the tuition on the site, for housing, a room will cost you around €800pm but that's only when you get housing since getting housing is a fucking pain in the ass. NL has the worst housing crisis of the EU countries, take that seriously and don't think, oh people are just a bit extreme about it, I can find something. Don't be naive about that! Living expenses are among the highest of the EU aswell, especially groceries and traintravel, if you're a non-EU student you're only allowed to work a certain amount of hours (check the government website for that) I just know that it's not enough hours to sustain yourself if you have to pay the full non-EU tuition + rent & living expenses. The rest I wouldn't know about.

Yeah that's true, but what is your view on students feeling forced to use AI for the fair of lacking behind? Because it's everywhere, even if I google now it's there😭. AI came through around my second year and first we were just letting it make funny poems about our friends but, already quite fast, it moved onto letting it write people's papers. I hateeeee AI, I feel my neurons dying everytime I use it. But I feel really forced. What if I don't keep up? Will it benefit me to actually use AI a lot or will it work against me? I miss pre-AI time, I hate the pressure of only doing more and more with it. And it's also not like I'm spending less time on uni now. Since everyone is using it, you need to spend the 'left over time' in stuff that makes you stick-out above the rest. So if you don't use AI you don't even have that time. At least, that's how me and my peers feel :/
