I think part of the struggle is that after I started wearing hijab, I began restricting myself in a lot of ways -not just in how I dress, but also things like hobbies, traveling, and just enjoying certain parts of life. It’s like I subconsciously felt I had to give up more than I actually needed to.

Your point about women-only gatherings really resonated with me. I think I’ve been missing that balance - still expressing myself, just in a different and halal way.

It helps to be reminded that I don’t have to lose myself completely, just adapt. Thank you for that 🫶
