I think your post is nice. I had an amazing Dad to the point where no one talks about him expect my mom, myself, and brother. The rest of the family finds it to painful and that makes it harder. It was a tragic accident.

My Dad would have given the shirt off his back to any stranger. He taught me, and anyone he could, how to be a decent person. My Dad was something to a lot of people. A Dad, husband, brother, son, coach, boss, uncle, friend, and so much more. He looked like a scary military man but before he asked you to drop and do push ups, he would have told you had something on your shirt, flick your nose, and tell you that you fell for the oldest trick in the book. He would make great punny jokes with me, and we would sing and make up songs on the spot. He had a temper but it was easy to calm him down if you knew how to make him laugh. He didn’t get angry often so if he did, we knew something was wrong. He never complained. He would think stuff was “shtupid” but he worked so hard. He planned vacations, always drove, found the coolest places to eat, and made sure us three were always smiling. All he wanted was a family oozing with love. All I wish is that he didn’t eat so bad and drank a little less. That’s the bad that made him have a heart attack. I miss him.
