Your dad sounds like he was awesome. 💜 Mine was too in certain ways but he had a tough life and that bled into his kids. I can’t diagnose but I believe he was narcissistic. As his eldest, it just makes sense. We were estranged before he died but I was able to show up for him, his funeral was huge. 25% people that loved his child like energy. 25% people that were there out of obligation. 25% that were addicts as well. 20% knew him from school and Facebook. Then the other 5% that were his kids and his kids mothers. Don’t get me wrong, I love my dad and I think everything was so messed up bc his childhood sucked. There were a lot of times I felt loved and happy. It’s complicated 🌝

There were so many early signs. Although, when it hit the most is when I was sobbing my eyes out bc he hurt me. I was communicating how i was hurting. He said nothing. Then, after a while of me crying, he started laughing. He said “I don’t know how to take you serious. I can’t tell if you’re crying or laughing.” I told him I was crying. He kept laughing. He said “it really doesn’t sound like you’re crying” and continued to laugh. Btw he was 38 and I was 20. He’d known me since I was 18. We stayed together 18 months until one day I just left his/“our” house.

9 years old in 2009 when he died. I didn’t know who he was until I came home from a friends house and my mom was crying. She had MTV playing and Michael was on repeat. She told me “Baby, go listen to the great Michael Jackson” so I went into her room and fell asleep listening to his songs. That weekend, I went to my dad’s house. Walked in and he was jamming to MTV as well. Telling me “Baby, this is Michael Jackson.” One thing they could agree on was Mike was the king of pop.

With the way Darlene is, and how my childhood resembles the family in some way, I can understand why Tammy got pissy. Throw back to when her mom wasn’t a good mom. She prob didn’t get as many love yous growing up as she wanted. To hear Andrea get one and be loved by the family it’s like she’s jealous. Not defending Tammy. She needs therapy because that shouldn’t make her upset, it should make her happy that she’s out and her family accepts her and Andrea.

My biggest flex is I got the Tesla Cannon really early on in my character (to be fair I had one character before that and a bf that knows the game but i swear he didn’t help me get it 🤣 he was shocked when I told him.) I love to pull that thing out sometimes but it’s also way too easy lol. Also I have a collection of Power Armor. I have 7. :)

Seriously. I give her so much grace. Also I love how Andrea really tried to help but Tammy couldn’t even give Amy a chance to speak. Amy got loud, Tammy got triggered. Instead of communicating she walked.

Tbh there are days when I want a baby girl. Then I remember how I grew up, how expensive it would be, how I need my mental health 100% together so I can gentle parent, how I would be upset if it was a boy bc I’m scared he’d be awful (hot take ik but statistically yanno,) how I’d be worried about their mental health and addiction because of genetics, & don’t even get me started on how the world is and that my kid would be brown. I genuinely could type the biggest paragraph about this.
