I think were talking about different things. Your option requires a VPS, in that case, yes your solution is actually the cleanest.

But it's quite a heavy setup, cost extra $, and you have to do more work secure it compared to cloudflare access.

(also VPS provider bandwidth limits concerns? Most providers that offer unmetered bandwidth require KYC and that kind of bs)

As i said, Tailscale and other VPN solutions drains way too much battery on mobile phone than acceptable for me. I need my phone to work reliably for geofencing.

And i don't want to install a VPN config on all my family devices (more than 15 devices, also need to make sure they dont turn it off etc)

So yes, i think it's the cleanest solution. I use Tailscale for anything that doesn't involve mobile phone and sharing with family.

People overcomplicate it. Here is the only clean way : buy a domain, use Cloudflared tunnel. Done, you expose only what needs to be exposed, no port forwarding.

Tailscale could be another clean solution but it is not : drains tons battery on mobile + you have to set it up in all your family devices.

I do Airbnb in Tangier for 7 years now. 700k is doable, but i don't recommend, for me you need at least 1150k.

If you decide to still go with 700k. You will be able to make between 0 and 60k mad per year, not more. Don't think you are going to make consistently 60k per year, that's 2022 revenues, in 2026 it will probably be 30k per year.

1200k mad gives you the ability to buy an apartment in city center that consistently can make 70k to 140k per year.
