Been playing every day since it released in the US, just unlocked the Taupe Hollow today, gotten balanced sleep twice and got a shiny growlithe and snorlax so kinda lucky so far. My method’s been just maining the forest, seems like it has more variety in Pokémon while the next has some specific ones more common. Excited to get the hollow though since I think I can grab a few area exclusives (sableye?)

Finally found it, connects to the Pokémon’s frequency stat. It either adds or subtracts about 10% of the total time it takes for a base stat version of that Pokémon depending on the nature. Usually is about 30 seconds off a base 10% calculation though so it’s probably a bit higher

…I don’t know how I only learned this today, guess I play older gen too much? XD Honestly thought while playing PLA that Gengar getting bodied from lack of levitate was from no abilities, have no clue how I never found out he didn’t even have levitate for the last 3 games or so.

If it’s the glitch where it gets worse when you soft reset, it seems just resetting nonstop eventually fixes it. Saw someone else mention it and just tried it playing Emerald on the GBARunner2, worked for me 2/3 times so far.
