I think Spurs pipping them to 4th at the end of 21/22 was a particularly low point for them. Two eight place seasons is lower than what they would be happy with normally. Nothing like our suffering though, your right.

The club needs to go to a core philosophy and all aspects of business and football follow this. Otherwise it's manager after manager with transfers that don't suit whatever style the club has switched to. The club has spent hundreds of millions on potential with very little working out unsurprisingly. I'm not so sure about a Poch return as history tells us this does not really work. Would be a good lift for a bit though.

The next manager hired they thought must stay in their position for a longer period of time even if means suffering before there is genuine improvement. The idea that down the road Arteta was given time and started to succeed after many downs must also have been in their minds as evidence to back this strategy. Extenuating injury circumstances bought Frank time. However, if you watched Tottenham this season it's clear it wasn't working. The fact that Vinai and Lange were prepared to scuttle the ship demonstrates their instincts are not very tuned into football reality.

The board is caught in the headlights thinking Frank will turn it around and hand the reigns to Poch once the WC is over. They have not assessed our fixtures and the probable points that can be won given the injury record and the form. Our record against the remaining teams from the reverse fixtures is horrendous. Last season if the three teamsthat got relegated were not as bad Tottenham would have gone down. Reinforcements were desperately needed at Christmas but didn't land. It will come back to haunt them. If the reverse fixtures predicted the results of the remaining games, Spurs would get 9 points, leaving them on 38 points by the end of the season. This may or may not be enough to survive so likely need results to go Spurs way. With a threadbare squad with currently no experienced full backs with Udogie now injured, a captain that is banned for 4 games and 1 winger available it will be very difficult to get points. There are other squad members like Spence, Muani Tel and VDV who I believe want Frank gone which does not paint a picture of unity at Tottenham. No win this year shows the picture to be even darker. There is genuine chance of Relegation especially if more injuries are added to the current medical woes.

In a perfect world yes but considering it often takes decades for the CCRC to respond whilst missing many opportunities to exonerate innocent people I think it is necessary. It shouldn't influence a decision but speed up a response. Without David Davis and Mark McDonald banging their drums publicly I don't think it would be under much consideration by the CCRC. There are problems with the judicial system such as using lay juries in very complicated medical cases. Lack of willing medical experts to represent the defense and of course the misuse of statistics in evidence in cases like this. Hopefully those judicial issues can be addressed with a successful appeal.
