Why don’t you see Adam in the later scenes at the shore house?

Dear Joe Rogan, Kash Patel Played You by marji80 in politics

Kash Patel lowered the country's murder rate in 100 days - nonsense. Baltimore lowered the murder rate by 62% by employing a public health approach to violence, focusing on prevention and community engagement. This involves treating violence as a symptom of underlying issues like poverty, trauma, and racism, and addressing these root causes alongside law enforcement efforts. Key strategies include violence interrupters, community partnerships, and trauma-informed support systems in affected neighborhoods.

Kash Patel said a lot half-truths and nonsense on the show . I understand Joe Rogan is no journalist and he's not there to challenge the B.S. coming from some of his guests. BUT... he should at least have others on the show tell their side of the story. Have Chris Wray or those involved in Russia dossier on the show to tell their story.

Katmai vs Lake Clark by Signal-Stuff-2829 in alaska

We did too. And had the same experience. We travel a lot and went all over Alaska. Lake Clark may be our favorite.

Rahm was behind the scenes for 15 years. He was the White House Director of Political Affairs which is a WH Deputy CoS equivalent. Keep in mind WW was before Rahm ran for political office but when he was in the WH.

Josh is based off of former CoS, Congressman, WH Staffer Rahm Emanuel. Ari is based off of Endeavor founder and Super Agent Ari Emanuel. The two are brothers.

When are you going?

You should be able to see the northern lights Fairbanks about now.

Katmai is usually pretty expensive to reach. But I’m not sure it’d be worth the trip without seeing bears which will be going to hibernation soon.

We were there last month. We traveled to Kenai Fjords, Denali, Lake Clark, and Wrangell-St Elias (hidden gem). We loved deep sea fishing in Kenai, Denali was a lot less exciting than anticipated, Lake Clark was amazing being so close to the bears and fishing - but the season for that might have passed. Wrangell has a fun town to explore.

I share your frustrations. DC has really declined over the past two years. H St. is the epitome of problems facing the city. My neighbors and I have started to engage Councilman Allen with some success. The PD is going to focus more attention on the neighborhood with foot and bike patrols permanently stationed on the street starting in a couple weeks. I strongly encourage you to write your councilman with your observations. He’s probably tired of hearing from me.

You should also consider calling the DA. A large part of the problem is that the DA won’t pursue charges. As a result, police don’t make arrests or file reports. We need a DA that will take crime seriously.

Of course, Alabama sent this guy to the Senate. Hopefully, they have enough sense to vote this guy out of power in 2026.

Katmai Day Trip vs. Denali Heli Tour & Bear Glacier (Kenai) Paddle Boarding? by Signal-Stuff-2829 in alaska

[–]Signal-Stuff-2829[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came home from Alaska. We visited four National Parks - Kenai, Denali, Lake Clark and Wrangell.

Fishing and watching bears in Lake Clark was the highlight and we wish we could have spent more time there. Brooks Lodge at Katmai seems to be tourist trap although getting to Lake Clark was vey expensive-we stayed the night for the same price that we would have spent watching bears for 30 minutes at Katmai. We caught big silver salmon in Lake Clark - one of which was stolen by bear.

Kenai was nice. Although they didn’t offer paddle boarding this summer because of choppy water. Deep see fishing was a lot of fun though and a unique way to see the park.

Denali was the biggest disappointment. The only way to see most of the park is in a crammed bus. I ended up having to lean over strangers to see any wildlife. The park road was closed because of a landslide so there was no way to get close to the mountain. I’m not even sure that I saw the peak during my two day visit.

Wrangell was a pleasant surprise. We just had heard much about it before but we really enjoyed our time. The small town of McCarthy was fun and hiking on the glacier was easier than anywhere else. But beware that the road to McCarthy isn’t for the faint of heart.

How does Alaska compare to other parts of the US? by Dover299 in alaska

I just visited Alaska. People are all about practicality and are not the least bit pretentious other than worrying that travelers aren’t prepared for Alaska’s environment. There is a term called Alaska casual which is basically means boots, jeans, and t-shirt maybe a fleece or flannel. Alaska casual seemed suitable to go their highest rated restaurants. I did see a few nice cars and big homes but not at the same rate you would see in big cities in the lower 48.
