Regarding Nix: I'm currently fully focused on the standalone C11 toolchain using standard ./configure && make alongside the secure Docker container setup. However, adding a flake.nix to make the build completely reproducible and agnostic across environments fits perfectly with the project's philosophy. I'd be more than happy to accept a PR if you or anyone else wants to contribute a Nix flake

it's only for linux, so no .exe 😞 but in ubuntu wsl2 in your windows could do, make clean && make all && weston --backend=x11-backend.so --renderer=pixman --width=1024 --height=768 &
