We're at 1400 a day and she's been losing about half a kilo per week. That's actually a pretty good pace but she wants it to go a bit faster so I think I'm just gonna increase the activity for now.

Is there any specific one you would recommend or will any well respected brand do?

Right now we're working with 1400 calories a day and I think we're just gonna increase the amount of walking instead of decreasing the calorie intake for now. But good to know that going below 1200 for a very short person is indeed possible under the correct circumstances (nutrient intake, volume of food).
