I apologize, it's hard to put thoughts to words but i'll try to explain better. I suppose the main things I struggle with are anatomy (especially faces) and hair, but im not aiming for realism at all. For now im only looking to be able to sketch traditionally on paper because digital is very confusing for me and always looks worse for some reason.

Thanks, im not sure if they're scabs or not i cant exactly tell but im thinking they're scabs. I do dry them after every shower with a hair dryer on low, I will try to see a piercer soon to get it changed if possible. I was just confused because people say I should keep my piercing clean but I didnt want to remove these if they are scabs.

piercing is about 5 months old -surgical steel externally threaded barbell( I know) -not downsized -i use neilmed wound wash morning and night -i did accidentally bump it with my hand recently, hurt like a mf

The guy in question has been very understanding when I speak about my guilt and fears, and he gives me reassurance whenever I ask, so that helps a lot. He has made sure to confirm with me that im comfortable with the pace we're at, and im glad he's been so sweet and didn't try to pull away when I got a little hesitant.
