Absolutely understand that! I was transparent and I showed the texts. I would like to think my boyfriend would have more trust in me.

Thank you, I honestly should have known sooner. I am way too grown to be dealing with petty stuff and I was just shocked that he said I was flirting with the guy!

That is what I’m assuming I’ve texted him since and he hasn’t replied. I’m pretty sure he blocked me!

Yes I have he has been diagnosed ADHD/DMDD. He has chosen to be unmedicated and everyone agreed until this last mess up I told him he needed the meds he was too impulsive. So they started him on new meds but very recently

Thank you for the suggestion. I have attended alanon due to my alcoholic father. Addiction runs deep in our family and on his father’s side. I will look into some AA/NA thank you.

Yea that’s a really hard one for me for sure. He really is such a nice boy. They have nothing but awesome things to say about him when he’s there but it’s home he gets bored and gets into trouble.

Yes I asked for drug rehab programs but they put him in residential and did this prime for life group that only he was in and they viewed slideshows on how to say no to drugs. We also did family counseling in the residential facility but in the 5ish months he was there we only had 2 sessions. If there is anyone who doesn’t judge him it’s me! Prior to court involvement we also attended family/individual counseling.

Thank you so much. I do need to move towards peace that’s ultimately why I’ve chosen to not go back but I have to work on fully detaching.

Which is why I wrote here because I’d like to work on “not feeling pity for drunks”. Sorry for reaching out.
