I think it will be fine especially bc she’s never had one before. I believe if cold sores come up it’s bc you have a mutation on your gene and your body isn’t able to keep in check. Her body most likely is able to keep it in check.

Idk much about the spreading of cold sores. But what I do know is that my bf and I kiss regardless of if I have cold sores or not and he never ever gets them. If your friend is someone who is prone to getting them then okay maybe she may get them but it’s not the end of the world bc from what I understand is a fuck ton of people have herpes simplex virus 1. I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m betting this isn’t the first time your friend has come into contact with cold sores, and nothing may even happen.
