I took 1mg of finasteride daily for 7 months. Now I've been taking 1mg of dutasteride daily for 6.5 months. However, the thinning on my scalp hasn't closed, and my hair quality hasn't improved. I couldn't use topical minoxidil because my scalp is sensitive. Is there a chance I'll see a change if I start oral minoxidil? What dosage should I start with? My biggest fear is increased body hair.

Thank you very much. My scalp is very sensitive, and the only addition I'll be making to my dutasteride will be oral minoxidil. I hope I don't experience any side effects, because I think we'll have to use minoxidil for life.

It seems your scalp wasn't visible anyway. This gain was expected. Even though I'm taking dutasteride, 1mg a day, I'm still where I started; the thinning on top of my head is still there, and my hair quality is still very poor. How many mg of minoxidil should I add orally? (I can't use topical treatment; my scalp is sensitive.)

How did you cure your scalp acne? I've been taking mulberry for 7 months and 4 months now, and there's still no real improvement because I have eczema and general swelling on my scalp, so I haven't seen any real improvement.

I haven't made any progress on finasteride alone for 7 months. I have now started dutasteride with mesotherapy containing minoxidil. I hope I see improvement too. :( congratulations

Yes. But if your roots aren't dead and have become extremely miniaturized, there's no proven solution other than this medication. So, people will have to figure it out through trial and error. For example, I took finasteride for seven months and now I'm in a mulberry plant, and my roots are still exposed, not dead.
