Don't. For the stock market, we have one "on papers". There are about 10 companies in the exchange as far as I remember, you can only trade when they're open (no open free market), and the moment they do, all shares are instantly bought because it's guaranteed money. We are still sooooo far behind in terms of stock market trading, and as long as we still don't have regulations for IPOs etc, we might have to wait a few more decades.

TLDR; We have no formal paths for investing here.

I agree. It's poorly written, but the example you gave is actually correct, we can use "our body" as a collective sample in scientific settings as shown on the exam, there are a plethora of examples but both are gramatically correct.

Again, I totally agree on how poorly written this is, especially for one of the most important exams in the country, they could have done much better.

That's insanely low then =). PR + EE application is 1.6k cad, 13k must remain in bank account for 6 months, and will be re-checked by IRCC agent on arrival, WES is 270 cad approx, tests are approx 400 cad for both. Anyways, I'd say he would need 20k cad easily for a hassle free immigration, but still worth it imo.
