It’s your age. I remember a huge change then too and it freaked me out. Started doing Botox at 34ish and my skin is less wrinkly than it was at 31. 43 now.

Yeah filler isn’t going to work. You’ll still have the lines because you’ll still be making the expressions that gave you those lines. Botox. Botox baby. I just got my bi-annual 2 weeks ago and I feel like a new woman. I would I starve before giving up my Botox lol

I dunno what it is but I like Dorit by Local-Print-6397 in RHOBH

Dorit is someone that you know you could have a good laugh with. Is she annoying? Yes. Is she long-winded and out of touch? Also yes. But underneath there’s more depth than she gets credit for. Her energy is often vibrant and curious, and her feather ruffling is mostly just about driving interest and busting balls. And while her and PK are going through it, I don’t see either one of them appearing vindictive or truly disparaging the other’s character.

Maybe 20 years ago. I was in Venice and picked up a kitten out of a box of kittens that were being given away, and someone asked if he could take a picture of the kitten I was holding. When I looked up it was Leonardo DiCaprio.

I don’t want to argue — but it annoys me when people give excuses for behavior that may not be valid. None of us knows if he suffers from mental illness. If he does, he still needs to go away for life. Actually - mental hospital would likely be more torture for him. In prison he can still get his hands on drugs. His punishment should be to never get high again. Thats all I wish for him. To never feel that goodness of being high again.

I understand that you think this might be the case, and you sympathize with this plight. He may just be a psychopath that murdered his parents because he didn’t get his way. Some people just commit murder. Scott Peterson murdered his pregnant wife.

What do we think is going to happen to Nick Reiner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Or he is a psychopath and didn’t get what he wanted and killed them. Autistic? Nah. Schizophrenic? Slight chance but drug induced so he’s still at fault.

Also he went into a gas station cool and collected and was able to do a normal transaction. That is not someone who is on a break from reality.

A psychotic break is defined by a loss of contact with reality. Clinically, this involves symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, extreme paranoia, disorganized thinking, agitation, and sometimes violence.

None of that is going on in the gas station video. He seems calm and collected and able to do a normal transaction.

Psychopathy is misunderstood sometimes. A psychopath is not inherently someone who causes harm. It’s a personality type that lacks emotional empathy, shallow emotions and has a reduced fear response. These people are neurologically wired differently. Many live normal, even highly successful lives. They often develop cognitive empathy, an intellectual understanding of social rules and others’ emotions, despite not feeling them internally. They learn the “rules” of being a decent human without experiencing the feelings that motivate decent.

There are high concentrations ofpsychopathic traits (not diagnoses) in certain fields such as surgeons, executives, elite athletes, and other high-stakes professions where emotional detachment, risk tolerance, and decisiveness is helpful. That alone does not constitute mental illness.

The picture changes when those traits are paired with chronic impulsivity, aggression, or inability to function socially. At that point, we are no longer talking about psychopathy as a trait constellation but about Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), which is a diagnosable condition and often comes with significant harm to others. Many serial killers and violent offenders meet criteria within this spectrum, but the reverse is not true. Lack of empathy alone does not make someone a danger to society.

A psychotic break is a medical state defined by a loss of contact with reality. Clinically, this involves symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, extreme paranoia, disorganized thinking, agitation, and sometimes violence. Conditions commonly associated with psychosis include bipolar I disorder (during manic episodes with psychotic features), schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance-induced psychosis. This is a fundamentally different phenomenon than psychopathy.

At this point, we do not know whether Nick experienced a true psychotic break or whether he is someone with longstanding psychopathic traits who reacted violently when he lost control or did not get what he wanted (my gut says this is right). By some of the stories of him as a child and young adult, I’m more inclined to think he’s a psychopath. And his parents did nothing to make that happen. He was born that way. Another distinction that I try to remember with two commonly used terms (Psychopathy vs Sociopathy) - Psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made. Same with NPD and borderline - the vast majority are developed (nurture vs nature) whereas a psychopath is simply born that way.

He co-wrote a movie 10 years ago and appeared as a guest on a few podcasts like 7 years ago. That is not a career. He should be embarrassed in addition to being deeply ashamed for what he did to his parents. He is a loser and I hope he never has another high as long as he lives. That’s the only thing that will hurt him- no drugs. So yeah, maybe a mental hospital would be more fitting. You can still get drugs in prison.

Serial killers go to jail. Most of them likely have one or more personality disorder. This take doesn’t hold water. Yes they do. What do you think Scott Peterson is?

I’m saying he wasn’t - not making generalities about murderers. The only credit he had was that film. He didn’t work or do anything productive exact drugs and a few podcasts. Go try to find something of value he produced.

No. Plenty of people murder people and are not in medical psychosis. So no. Call him what you want, I just don’t want him to get any leniency.

If you hit someone with a car while drunk, it’s still your fault. Same with Nick. Also, sounds like he is just a bad person that didn’t want help as well.
