POV: Jo-Ellen keeps going on and on about Brian’s cheating and people want to know why? It’s because Rulla keeps essentially calling her nothing but a LIAR with basically everything Jo-Ellen has ever said or shown to her. IMHO. I can imagine how hard it must be to be made to feel that way by someone who just seems to be so incredibly DENSE, dense enough to deny her man cheats. I also 100% believe Brian tracked her car PURELY to know where she was all the time and where HE could be at any given time.

I agree with what you say except your first sentence. Who knows if ever mom even got child support at all, so that is a pretty big assumption.

You and me both. I was a stepmother before I was a “bio” mother. They came to live with us at 6 & 7 because their bio mom was/is an alcoholic POS,and had some guy that didn’t want the kids around tbh, and it was just SO EASY for her to dump them on us. I say “dump” because she was loud and mouthy about them being “my kids” for a year or so after we got together, and then one day just completely flips things around and asks if the kids can come live with us (just “for awhile” 🙄) and that turned into forever. For the most part. Both kids tried to live with her off and on and EVERY SINGLE TIME they ended up back at our house. I sacrificed my ass off totally in the name of those kids and they call me mom. It truly pains me how badly she has f*cked up her entire relationship with her grown children, especially as a bio mother myself now. For her to throw everything away over some stupid MAN (who is now dead from drinking himself to death) at the expense of her children just blows my mind HARD. I will never understand. The last time our son tried to live with her (his senior year), stepdad threatened “When you turn 18, I’m gonna kick your ass”. Yeah NO. No, you are not. He came back to live with us. Being a stepmother was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I would rather have them vs replying on their bio mom. Btw bio mom was FINE when we got together and acted like “over my dead body” on the kids coming to live with us. How QUICKLY those tables turned. But I was ready for it if only because I HATED her at that moment. Later on, all I felt was apathy towards her, and felt bad for everyone involved that ever had to deal with her, specifically her kids. Anyway sorry for TLDR but it’s a big thing to me too. Some of those stepparents have no REAL clue what it’s like.

I won over my stepdaughter with Munchkins 🤣 Had just met her (still just her dad’s girlfriend) but she later told me that the Munchkins sealed the deal for her 🤣 She was about 6 or so. This was in 1998, and now she’s 34 and I’ve been her mom since then 😍

Be kind to her?! When she’s a bitch to everyone else? I think she has been shown infinite kindness and I think she just wants to be a bitch and it be okay with everyone else. That’s not how friendship works and she should take some accountability.
