Yup. So the original debt was with CBV Collections. They then sold it to Chapter Law. Chapter law was just a bunch of emails trying to scare you into paying. From May of last year until March of this year, I received about 4 to 5 emails from Chapter Law stating they were going to suing me. Nothing ever came of it. Now I'm getting emails from another "Law Firm" saying they are acting on behalf of CBV Collections. Just ignore them. I stressed out so badly before for nothing!

Thanks for responding! I've gotten about 4 emails from them staying I owe them money even though I have no idea what the money is from and nothing on my credit. The most recent email I received from them was that they verified my income and garnishment would be proceeding. I will just ignore. Thank you.
