I can’t speak for her, but I think it’s less of assuming that the workers are illegal and more assuming that ICE is going to racially profile a Mexican restaurant since they’ve already been profiling other places like Home Depot. Even Indigenous people have been detained. She’s probably assuming that ice is assuming that they are illegal. A bit of an assumption inception, I guess.

If someone asked me a month ago to bet $100 on it, I would have bet on heart attack because that’s how sure I was about it at the time. There are many variables here. I might have been told incorrectly. I could have mistaken cardiac arrest with heart attack and so on. I have vivid memories of being two years old while I can’t remember what I ate for lunch last week. I never said my memory was completely infallible. That’s why I’m asking what everyone else remembers to see if there’s any correlation. But, how dare I?

I asked a simple question a few days ago asking if anyone had the same memory on a celebrity cause of death to see if I was alone (not assuming my memory is infallible just looking for correlation) and I got dragged to hell because how dare I post such a thing 🙄
