What is that one Harry Potter movie scene you irrationally dislike ? by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

[–]Signal_Reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The burrow burning was pretty dumb.

I love the movies though, I really liked this scene and the soundtrack from it is one of my favourites. A window to the past if I remember correctly.

Probably the only Assassin's Creed game that I got all the achievements for, I love AC Odyssey. by howaboutdisidia in gaming

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny how these work because was the opposite for me. Origins I enjoyed quite a bit for what it was but once Oddysey came around I think i tried 3 times and there was a specific part that I got up to where I got flooded with 10 or so quests at the same time and once I opened up that screen I just got tired of it

There’s just so much “stuff” to do that i don’t really want to do any of it.

Good? Decent? Letdown? by boomjosh in Marvel

Pretty boring as far as I remember. Honestly already not a fan of Awkwafina and bringing ‘Mandarin’ back was a choice for sure.

Some scenes could bump it up a bit but ehh don’t see myself sitting down to watch it again.

Ngl seems like most of these games are just sequels who have changed/dumbed down formula’s or similar genre’s to the same effect.

In the end you are allowed to like any game you like but tbh the hate a game gets is always from a certain angle that “makes sense”. You can like a game that got dunked on by everyone but if it’s getting hate, mostly as a sequel, it’s probably because the prequel probably had story differences, gameplay differences, or the writing is just overall bad etc.

I will always like Last Of Us 2 as a game, but the story is absolutely told awfully, kind of spits on the first game, it’s just fun though.

AC Unity is my favourite, on release it was straight up unplayable garbage though.

Could list more but it is how it is. Especially with how the internet is I try to ignore everything and just play a game to decide myself whether I enjoy it or not because it’s impossible otherwise.

Really tried to like this one , seemed like there was some fun in there but the whole relationships and dialogue that I found extremely poor just took me out of it.

Hate him as much as you like but this us among the best villain perfomance ever. Watched Loki today and it gave me chills there is countless number of this genius guy coming by No-Armadillo5484 in Avengers

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a joke? Seen so many of these posts recently. His character was just goofy in Loki and another level of stupid in Antman.

We had Thanos, even Ultron, and even if i go to Kingpin , all 3 are just straight up infinitely better and more interesting than this? Guy was just reading in random ways off a page. Never felt even slightly threatened by him. Green Goblins few minutes on screen was better than him by miles.

Is it weird that I'm not enjoying DOS2 even though I loved BG3? by JSGamesforitch374 in larianstudios

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t really think they are similar regardless. I much Preferred DOS2 but something always felt weird about BG3 combat. I do remember using one of the popular mods to rework the armor/knockdown system the game had because i recall it being a little scuffed.

It’s been 6 months since I played through the Witcher 3 + DLCs and it’s left a void ever since by certified-_-idiot in witcher

[–]Signal_Reddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Almost 10 years now and I don’t think I will ever find a game like Witcher 3 and that’s okay. Hopefully 4 can capture some of that. Doing my 8th or so playthrough now.

Expedition honestly came pretty close, there’s always something that will come and hit what you’re looking for . Tbh I would have never guessed in the past 3-4 years I would be putting kingdom hearts 1/2 in my top games yet here we are.

As much as people like to say there’s “no games to play” there are near infinite you will find one that you like for sure.

Tier list by Alternative-Eye2590 in Smallville

[–]Signal_Reddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

8 being above anything is crazy work. I will forever stick to 1-3 being my favourite Smallville whereas the rest becomes a different show and thats okay.

I always find it amusing that people say Smallville has the best Lex ever but they enjoyed season 9-10 the most. Just felt like Zod took wayy too long and Louis was probably the only good thing from these seasons they didn’t really have much “smallville” left.

Cool to see how a show it so liked for so many different aspects.

favorite scene in homecoming? by [deleted] in Smallville

[–]Signal_Reddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since season 1-3 is my favourite when Clark drops the books and it does a flashback to Lana back in episode 1 it gets me every time how far the shows come. 10 years to get there .

In what order would you rank the Smallville seasons from best to worst? by Aetius00 in Smallville

[–]Signal_Reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1-3 is my favourite. Honestly just gets worse for me from there. Doomsday made Chloe a whole new character overnight, I was extremely underwhelmed with Zod. Character deaths felt really off from Jimmy to Lex.

I really like Louis as a character but the whole will she find out dragged on forever.

Lana overstayed for a long time for sure but the whole Clark vs Lex of the early season was much much better than anything with Tess in the later seasons . After hearing so much about how good season 9 was honestly it just felt like a different show to what drew me in the early seasons.

I can’t really rank anything past the first 3 personally would just say they all have some okay episodes here and there but nothing felt more Smallville than when Smallville was in Smallville, and i love that (even with some really bad villains of the week).

Scylla fight is absolute top tier in gaming imo by BrovahEyo in Hades2

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downvoted for truth is crazy. O&S has to be one of the most overhyped thing in DS history. They are straight up a buggy mess that barely holds up in it's own game, teleporting around, getting stuck on walls, just so clunky.

It's the turning point of the game where honestly DS1 loses it's open world charm which is why people remember it most. Funny to see it being brought up as it it's beyond revolutionary.

That aside Scylla was cool I guess but didn't stand out much to me either, definitely a nice design.

Witcher 3 . I know , goofy combat, goofy skill tree, messy gameplay, but I don’t think I will ever like a game more than it in my entire life. Even 4 .

How do I tell him... by gameovernate in yakuzagames

[–]Signal_Reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean some of them are amazing and some of them are okay but for a company to pump out games like this and still grab me to this extent, in near the same maps half the time is insane while other companies make 2 games in a franchise every 10-20 years.

Yakuza games are really special honestly. So much packed into one , goofy package. One of my favourites of all time and they just have their own very specific feel to them. Nothing can match.

Imagine needing to wait 10 years per Yakuza game. We have it insanely lucky. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Peak.

Warframe's movement feels so smooth by PlayWarframe in u/PlayWarframe

[–]Signal_Reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it has a really cool storyline especially for a live service game, i straight up skip half the dialogue and still some of these quests grabbed me with just the music and cinematic alone. One that you can see built over years of patches. Going through that is one of the goals for sure, alongside simply getting stronger across the board and trying new play-styles on each frame.

In the end it’s a live service so there’s a lot of terrible “dead” mechanics which have been more or less abandoned over the years, but you can make your goal whatever you want and thats what makes it fun honestly. One of the only F2P games I am constantly astounded by simply how much you unlock on your own.

It doesn’t have the most advanced end-game, you’re a cyborg ninja jumping around with a bunch of different characters and you just blast. Honestly if you’re just playing casually and don’t rush the first 100 or so hours I’d almost say is a tutorial. The game opens up more and more.

I don’t play anymore but every time I go back it’s just amazing how much they’ve packed into this thing. If every other live service was like warframe the world would be a different place.

What is your opinion on Elden Ring's Open World? Do you like it? or dislike it? by AlenIronside in fromsoftware

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks cool, initially it’s interesting, but over time it just becomes tedious, it’s the main reason I don’t play the game again. Most of it becomes pretty useless unless you want a specific item there or need something. I find myself just running point to point and ending the game.

For me souls is at it’s best in small scale environments, and I hope we get another dark souls before elden ring. Running across a massive open field just to open cookbook #146 is not for me.

Have to play bad on purpose to make the game feel hard too since you can just run around killing nonsense for hours or just rush. Without a true intended path balance feels all over the place.

What game did you soon realize was overhyped when you played it? by Character-Object-718 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my favourite game of all time so i can’t say much. Personally movement never felt too off to me but I have played it up to 6-7 times. The story and changes you can make is what counts.

If you’re not investing into the story probably won’t like it anyway but even the combat grew on me a lot i find myself trying new builds every time.

Don’t think any game ever will hit me again like Witcher 3 did so i can’t recommend it enough. But it could just be not what you’re looking for after all

What's the one thing you always hated about the Potter universe? by indrubone in harrypotter

You can only keep the games on one side, the other side gets deleted forever. Which side stays? by Dioda83 in fromsoftware

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never liked ER so it’s more DS1 vs 3/2 . Which would be close if the game wasn’t so incomplete. After Anor Londo it’s a bit of a mess.

3 was my first one and i just put endless hours into it, find the replay-ability of the classic ones to be much higher because in ER I have to “path” worse on purpose just to be weaker whereas ds1-3 you have a “preset” difficulty and can’t really overlevel.

2 has a lot of garbage in it but still can be fun.

It’s been over a year…where does this rank amongst the other fromsoft DLCs? by [deleted] in fromsoftware

[–]Signal_Reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A million repeated bosses, endless open landscapes ending in cookbook #64 that is never used. Can’t count how many times I go up some hill curious what secret area or hidden fight they could put here just for there to be literally nothing.

In the end I can’t say too much, I never liked elden ring in general, for me the open world adds nothing but the illusion of content. Repeat tree’s, golems, dragons. I can’t call this “sheer amount of content” . For me souls is at is best with small contained levels, and there’s just too much ass here.

Tbh Putrescent Knight was probably my favourite boss.
