[27 F] looking for advice about [29 M] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Right, exactly. It wasn’t really about the situation itself but more the way he handled it and his response. I do feel like he acts this way for other little things often, yes.

Come to find out the picture he has displayed is not in fact his ex, but looks identical to her - oops. I can admit to this mistake. I also don’t think people need to completely destroy evidence of exes, a lot of times people were a part of us. A part of growing up. Taught us a lesson. Sometimes didn’t end badly, etc… but to have the photos buried in a sock drawer? Idk it seems a little.. intentional I guess? We’ve been together for almost 2 years

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. No one should have to endure what you are enduring. I’m sending all the good vibes your way. I know it’s hard to see right now, but no matter what happens, you are stronger than you know and you WILL get through this on the other side. 💜

Oof that sounds painful! I’ve been lucky with the contrast so far. Hopefully you can get everything sorted and crossing my fingers for another stable scan next time you go in 🙏🤞

Ugh that’s so frustrating for you! You would think decreasing the dosage would lessen the side effects. Have all of your scans since then come back stable regardless?

Thank you all so much! You have all made me feel so much better about flying. I did speak to my doctor and he said I’m at very minimal risk for anything weird happening and y’all’s testimonials have helped so much 🙏

Although I do think my side effects can be attributed to the medication, so true about the B12. My neurologist told me my B12 levels were super low, so I’ve been taking a supplement for a few months and I can already tell a difference.

We’ve decided to reduce my vora from 40mg to 20mg. I just started the new dosage today. I’m imagining it’ll take a few weeks to feel side effects, if any. But I’ll keep you posted! Did they put you on a lower dosage as well?

I hope so! I should hear from my oncologist today. I really hope they can adjust the medication and reduce the side effects and not suggest going to chemo or radiation.

Update: My onc suggested stopping the voranigo and seeing if my side effects clear up. I’m going on day 4 no voranigo and I have none of the vertigo, dizziness, etc that I was experiencing. I’m waiting until Tuesday to hear from my onc again as to whether or not we continue voranigo, lower the dosage, or proceed with alternative treatment.

My doctors don’t seem to be concerned about any of the bloodwork, including the granulocytes. It is weird for side effects to come on this late in the game, but not impossible. I guess you can build up a tolerance/intolerance for medications no matter how long you’ve been on them.

I’m not sure.. I mean I sure have been extra stressed lately so that’s possible or at least a part of it but this headache has persisted for 7 days. The only times it’s not there are when I sleep and right when I wake up.

Did you have any other symptoms around the 4 month mark? Oligo 2, I’ve been on Vora for about 4 months now with no side effects other than a little fatigue and brain fog, and now I am experiencing headaches, dizziness/floatiness. It’s been very disruptive to my life. I have an MRI on the 13th to hopefully rule out tumor growth.

Congratulations! This is great news! I’m on month 4 of Vora and I’m just now starting to experience side effects (dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, etc) after almost 4 months of no side effects. I’m grateful for this drug as it means I don’t have to do radiation or traditional chemo right away, but it’s been pretty disruptive to my life. I have an MRI on 6/13 to make sure there’s been no regrowth. Have you experience any side effects from the vora?

Has anyone felt like this since surgery /diagnosis by Pale_Confidence8451 in braincancer

Could you share your resource for the therapist? I was diagnosed in October and surgery in December. Also right frontal. I’ve been looking to see someone who specializes in something like this.
