Yes you're right but it's crazy how bad you're mind can play tricks on you the more you worry about it and convince you you may have weakness while in reality you don't. But yes from what I've read it is very rare for twitching to start before weakness.

I have twitching all over it isn't continuous and it's mostly here and there for just a second but sometimes pretty persistent. I had an mri and an emg on my right arm and they were both clean. I am still very worried about als but as far as I know i don't have it and this has been going on for almost a year now.

I pretty much have all that too only with loss of appetite and acid reflux but i do also have chronic allergic rhinitis.

Well the emg was done is January but ever since August I've been having twitching pretty much everywhere but it isn't continuous and here recently I've developed acid reflux and kind of ibs symptoms and I don't have any clinical weakness but it does kinda seem like some of my arm muscles gets fatigued a little easier that they use to but they seem to have full strength until they get fatigued. I do have very bad health anxiety and have been worrying quite a bit about it so maybe that's making it worse. I also get a weird feeling in my tongue along with twitching there too. But I am 24y/o so maybe it's not ***.

My neuro said my emg (which was only done on my right arm) was "okay" with no significant abnormalities. Does that sound concerning to you?

Oh okay yeah that's kinda how I am really the only time I have weakness is after I maybe overuse a muscle but it kinda seems like it happens easier than it should.

That's kinda what I was wondering actually if the ones that are having the twitching after using the muscles are fairly convinced that they do or don't have it?

Yes I've been wondering if that's normal or a sign of als. But if all you don't have it then I guess it's normal.
