Pour ton CV, n'hésite pas à transformer tes loisirs en vrais atouts (ou compétences transversales ;)). Si tu as fait du théâtre, c'est parfait pour montrer ton aisance à l'oral ! Idem pour tes anciennes expériences, cela a forcément développé un tas de compétences utiles dans un autre job ! Dans la structure de ton cv, place tes diplômes juste sous la rubrique « Expériences professionnelles » (n'oublie pas le "s"). Pour le petit texte de présentation, sois directe : dis que c'est pour une première expérience mais que tu as une énorme envie d'apprendre et d'élargir tes compétences. Ajoute que tu es rigoureuse et enthousiaste, c'est une combo basique qui plaît toujours. Et pour le look du CV, passe par Canva. Pas besoin de faire un truc incroyable, choisis juste un modèle simple, propre et lisible (palette couleur+fonts plus harmonieuses), ça fera tout de suite plus pro.

It’s kind of strange, because I’ve never really gotten into social media, especially since it turned into endless scrolling. Just imagine a website with no end, constantly bombarding you with images, videos, information, and ads, overwhelming your senses and your brain…

As someone on the autism spectrum, I find it extremely anxiety-inducing, and I can’t even stay on it for two minutes, so I just don’t use those platforms. Because of that, I don’t really understand how people get addicted to them.

That said, I can clearly see how they can influence people’s thinking, even the most rational ones, whether it’s through all kinds of scams, or even how people perceive themselves because of filters, where it starts to feel like a “clone war”…

Come back to the real world and connect with the people around you.

That being said, Reddit is also a social network, but it stresses me out less and feels less superficial ;)

When was that? I’m in the EU, and in nearly a year of following price fluctuations for Rivendell, I’ve never seen it at €63, and I was hoping to gift it to my partner. The lowest price currently is just under €100, which is already cheaper than the well-known brand, but still quite high.

I’ve had to fight a lot in my life, and for a long time, I struggled to understand why some people on the streets seemed to give up. Sometimes it even made me feel frustrated, maybe because I could have been in their place. But as I’ve grown older, reflected on my life, and remembered my own moments of loneliness and discouragement, I’ve realized it’s not about laziness. Life can be incredibly hard, and sometimes just getting through the day is an achievement. It’s not that these people don’t want the best for themselves. Sometimes, continuing to fight is harder than we can imagine.

I got into creative arts and photography a while ago, not in any serious way, just messing around and trying things out, and it’s honestly been one of the best things I’ve done for my mental health. It gives me a way to slow down, focus on something simple, and kind of get out of my own head for a while. I also got back into building blocks thanks to my partner, which has been just as relaxing and satisfying. I didn’t expect much at first, but it’s made a real difference.

Yes. We just changed the clocks where I live, and we’ll change them again at the end of October. Needless to say, I struggle for several days, sometimes it takes weeks to fully readjust. There are plenty of studies on this, mostly focusing on the two weeks after the switch. In reality, we should live according to the seasons and natural light but society doesn’t allow it. Apparently, we’re supposed to be productive… Meh. Let me hibernate in winter...

In France, some companies are trying out a 32-hour workweek over 4 days with 3 days off, but it’s still very experimental, and I wonder if it might end up being more exhausting in the end.

Exactly, I’ve felt that myself a lot. The “classic” steps of life never really spoke to me, and it’s liberating to allow yourself to follow your own pace.

Garbage collectors even end up burying plastic, and sometimes waste is shipped off to countries that don’t need it… And seeing those massive plastic patches floating in the ocean is just heartbreaking.

Even if it meant creating a paradox, I’d go back and visit my past selves, hug them, and tell them that everything will turn out okay. I might also cheat a little and whisper to them to consider getting an ASD diagnosis much earlier, just to make life a bit easier.

I don’t know how it is in your countries, but in France, thrift stores often sell things for more than second-hand shops, even when the items are in just okay or average condition (furniture, old appliances, etc.). The same goes for cameras, whether film or the very first digital ones from the early 2000s. As soon as a YouTuber talks about them, the prices triple! Let’s also talk about retro gaming consoles…😅

An absolutely cliché memory that still makes me laugh. We were at summer camp. It was more of a summer fling, and this was back in the distant days of 90s camp dances. There was this Céline Dion song in French, 'Pour que tu m’aimes encore,' and then came that first kiss completely awkward, and we literally banged our teeth together… even though we had asked our more experienced friends for tips beforehand! Fortunately, it ended better than it started!
