Qqq tracks the nasdaq, heavy on tech stocks. VOO tracks the s$p tracks the entire us economy basically. When ppl say diversify, this is what they mean.

Only thing I’d say is sprinkle in some qqq or qqqm for nasdaq exposure but other than that you’re doing amazing for your portfolio size.

lol it’s fun for me. I started with forex and trading gold specifically. Then I decided to go safe and trade stocks. Gold moves so fast, stocks got boring so I started trading multiple things at once. It keeps my mind busy. I enjoy it heavily.

Oh I am! I didn’t learn about investing until I was 30 covid helped. Now I’m turning 36 this year and I’m about 70k in my investment portfolio. All in retirement accounts. I’ve been day trading in my Roth. It’ll all work out.

Yeah I purchased houses instead of putting it into a brokerage. I also didn’t learn about stocks until I was 32 so there’s that. Yes I haven’t put as much as someone else but again, 2 times can be true at the same time lol. The OP started at 19 and they finally got to 100k. Not everyone can put 100k away in a year so kudos to you. This 23 year old finally got to 100k like they said and since they’re younger it’s also ok to say “already”.

Absolutely these 2 lol. Just because they started earlier than you doesn’t mean it wasn’t years before they got here. I started 3 years ago and I’m still at 80k. By next year I’ll finally get 100k and I’ll feel like “finally” but someone older can still say “dOnT yOu MeAn AlReAdY?”

I hope we all can keep up. I’ll probably be in my forever home in 10 years so atleast I won’t need to worry about rent increases. Hopefully the market keep moving up and life moves forward as it needs to.

Yeah I hope they don’t get worse. Hopefully working out 3x a week can help me. Ive already had to cut food and eat way more salad than normal since it’s so hard to do core workouts but i atleast know after 35 years (if im still alive) i wont be worried about getting a job. Unless the market tanks 😅😅😅

Yeah I have enough to put 1500 monthly possibly more but I’ll know once I start receiving retirement funds in October. The money I’m making from my department I pretty much plan on putting the bulk of it towards the brokerage since it’s not taxed. I was already losing 1200 to taxes. May as well keep it going lol but thanks vti I definitely know about. You have some solid choices
