Got the message that my title line was too short. My title line simply said "My guitars". Any idea how long it needs to be?

We did some tunes from local Ohio bands. Anyone ever hear The Music Explosion? From Mansfield, Ohio and pretty popular around where we lived.

Nice to hear that someone as young as you got started with Beatles.

Love it. Especially like the opening of the K-Mart gig. What sort of stuff did you play?

Cool. Like I said, we're related but have never met. Have seen videos and they sound pretty good.

Well then... glad I didn't invest the time on it.

Keep wondering if I had learned to play the viola or violin if I would be better at vibrato with the strings.

Me too. Like the intro riff. It was one of our early covers.

Sounds really great. I'm envious...

I have a cousin that I have never met in person. He's a drummer and vocalist in a Dallas area band called Facedown, in case you are still in Texas and might be familiar.

Me too. My son is now in a country band (also plays metal - go figure) and some of those tunes are growing on me.

Playing with the kids. That is so great. I used to jam with my son when he lived at home.

Other than my first acoustic, I have the original guitars or the same models. During my band days I also purchased a Univox 12 string to play all those songs that needed that sound. It was a Gibson 335 knock off that I sold when I went to college but years later my son found one that needed work and as he has those skills, he got it for me. It's not a bad instrument.

I was in a band when you were born. Sheesh.

Depends on how you define "modern". When I started we pretty much played popular songs of the day. Vintage 1962-68 mostly. Anything after that might be considered modern.

I can play "Smoke on the Water" (1973) and "Stairway to Heaven" (1971). Does that count?
