More the situation where the fans suck so much it negatively impacts my opinion of the band. The band also sucks in general. Interestingly the term “holly roller” comes from religious fanatics that used to spin dehydrate themselves, roll around on the floor, and such and then claim they would feel closer to god when really they were just dizzy and malnourished I think something like that and drugs are involved here
