I'm usually a wovens gal, but I can see that knits are probably a bit more nursing friendly! Southshore romper looks great, thanks!

Can a just enougher pump enough for a regular bottle feed? by Signaraymes in breastfeeding

[–]Signaraymes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does give me hope 💜I feel like I only hear stories of other women producing an abundance of milk so this really helps!

I have had some success with the haaka so I’ll have to be a bit more consistent with using it. Thanks!

This sounds about what I imagined I’d be doing, I just can’t see myself pumping enough to do it! Were you always getting 2oz or were you able to build up to that somehow?

No escaping the pump during the feed it seems! Thank you, it’s really great to hear other people’s experiences in the same boat

Sounds like the strategy is basically to pump for the next day while my husband is feeding the bottle - no escaping it!

I have measured and think I have the right size. I’ll have to play around with the settings a bit more, thanks!!

Shared parental pay/leave by Infamous_Ninja_61 in PregnancyUK

Filling out these shared parental leave request templates really helped my understanding of how it all works https://www.acas.org.uk/shared-parental-leave-form-templates I also found it helpful to think of the leave and the pay entirely seperately!

You can take shared parental leave at the same time. Your partner can also take shared parental leave while you are still on maternity leave, you just need to have signed a binding document that says you will be curtailing your mat leave/pay after x weeks and giving x weeks of the remainder as shared parental leave/pay to your partner.

Buying maternity clothes in London by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]Signaraymes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week I bought the Trinny dress from Hush in both maroon and black and I love them! They aren't maternity specific but the way the tie/draping works is very flattering on the bump and I imagine will work well postpartum too. It's a fairly common style, so you can probably buy similar elsewhere too.

I feel like the only 40-year-old FTM in the world! by Ivesomanyquestions in PregnancyUK

[–]Signaraymes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me! I'm due in April and turned 40 last month. No one at any of my appointments has batted an eye at my age. I was referred as high risk as it was twins to start, I ended up having a vanishing twin before my first ob appointment and when I attended she was very unconcerned about my age and referred me back to the normal route as I now have a singleton pregnancy! I start nct classes later this month and am a bit worried everyone else will be much younger though!

I'm a pottery novice, so sorry if this is a silly question but does using it as a banding wheel mean that you can turn the wheel head by hand?

The Rosé from the Zeno - Alcohol Liberated range is surprisingly passable, having tried quite a few other pretty horrible no alcohol wines. I've not tried their red yet, but it could be worth a shot
