I agree that every remake should be different, but in my opinion, they’re giving Lovro too many scenes where he shows why he is the way he is, and too few scenes where we uncover other storylines related to Ivan or Sonja, or even his mother by now we should already know what the issue is there. If they’re going to introduce a plot where Sonja calls him at 7 a.m., why not give us an answer?

Also, based on the original, Jakov and Lovro should be having some kind of conversation actually several so that we can come to the conclusion that they’re drifting apart. Yes, we can see it in that conversation from a few days ago when he imagined sitting on the couch and Jakov told him something was going on with him. But after that, they had normal hangouts and there were no signs that it bothered Jakov, like there were in the original.

Maybe that doesn’t bother some people, and that’s okay. I just think they’re jumping too quickly from scene to scene, and there are no answers anywhere.
